Madam / Sir,
With reference to the subject cited above, as per the latest guidelines issued by the
CBSE and KVS, HQ New Delhi (kindly refer letter mentioned above) the details of examination
schedule and other details are furnished below:-
1. Class I & II
For classes I & II existing scheme of eight cycle of assessment would continue.
2. Class III to V
a. There will be two terms i.e. I term (April to September) and II term (October to
March).
b. Both the term treated separately without including portion of I term in the II term.
c. The preparation of question papers and evaluation at Vidyalaya level.

evaluation at Vidyalaya level.

6. For Class XII
a. The Question papers of I pre-board examination will be prepared at Cluster level and
II pre-board at Regional level and the evaluation at School level.
b. There will be monthly test in every month.
c. I pre-board will be conducted in the first week of December and II pre-board will be
conducted in the first week of January.
d. More number of pre-board examinations can be conducted at School level wherever
necessary to improve the performance of children.
7. A. Weightage for periodically test from class III to X is 10 marks at term end.
B. Weightage for Notebook submission from class III to X is 5 marks at term end.
C. Weightage for subject enrichment from class III to X is 5 marks at term end.
D. The assessment of notebook and subject enrichment should be done on monthly basis.
It can be assessed for 10 marks in each month of the term and at the end of the term
weightage for 05 marks.
E. For subject enrichment details the circulars of CBSE Academic Website Acad-05/2017
dated 31.01.2017 and Acad -14/2017 dated 21.03.2017 may please be followed.
