the same way, rla Prabhupda appeared with his associates and very furiously he has spread

mission of Caitanya Mahprabhu and Raghuntha throughout the whole world. rla Bhaktivino-

da hkura made a plan that, like Gaurakiora Dsa BbjMahrja, like Rpa Gosvm, San-

tana Gosvm, we should follow them; but not totally like that. Like a mission. At that time

Rma-Ka mission and so many missions were preaching everywhere; like a mission that we

establish mathas in Mypur, in Vndvana, Vraja-maala, here, there in the whole world.

And we will teach brahmacrs and sannysis the teachings of Caitanya Mahprabhu; and in this

way we will train sannysis and brahmacrs and they will preach the mission of Mahprabhuthroughout the whole world.

One very learned boy, very qualified, perhaps you heard that he took birth in Jaganntha Purand

so many things; tulasmala and everything. He was very intelligent. He had a very sharp memo-

ry. He went to Sanskrit college and in a few years he told that, I have not come to learn from

them, I have come to teach them. He left college and then Bhaktivinoda hkura thought, How

will he earn his livelihood? But Prabhupda was not a man of this world; Bhaktivinoda hkura

also knew this. Then rla Bhaktivinoda hkura bought the land in Mypur, Caitanya

Mahprabhus birthplace, and there he made like a (sanctuary (indistinct)) for (indistinct),Viupriy Dev, Mahprabhu, (indistinct) and others. He discovered the house of Jaganntha

Mira and ac-devand they found Krmadev

And thus during Gaura prim he met with rla Gaurakiora Dsa BbjMahrja. He used to

come to Surabhi kua to meet rla Bhaktivinoda hkura and he used to sing, Gaurakiora

Dsa, kothya go premamayi rdhe rdhe / rdhe rdhe go, jaya rdhe rdhe (1) dekh diye

pra rkha, rdhe rdhe / tomra kgla tomya ke, rdhe rdhe (2) (rGauya Gti-

guccha Kothya Go Premamayi Rdhe Rdhe).

Prabhupda has written (that) in his life, I have never heard (such) a pathetic tone. I was moved

by his pathetic tone. And I felt (that) this person, though blind, he can not (even) sign (his own

name) but he has realization of Caitanya Mahprabhu and Rdh-Ka. So, I must select my

Gurudeva like this. But Gaurakiora Dsa Mahrja has promised, I will not make any disci-

ple. Then Prabhupda left eating and everything (else), (including) sleeping, and started to do

(intense austerities to gain the favor ofrla Gaurakiora Dsa BbjMahrja). And then Bhak-

tivinoda hkura was moved. And so told to Gaurakiora Dsa Bbj Mahrja, You have

come to be merciful to all but how you are very cruel to this boy. Do you want that this boyshould die?

Then he told, I will ask Gaura-Sundara, let me ask.

(The) second day (passed as well as the) third day (and) Bhaktivinoda hkura said, Have you

asked?

rla Gaurakiora Dsa BbjMahrja said, I forgot.

Then he again asked why to see (indistinct) of that boy. And then (in) Godruma he initiated Prab-hupda. He gave harinma and dk. And there are so many histories you will know. You know

all these things. So, we pray to rla Prabhupda on his

Brajantha dsa: Disappearance.

rla Nryaa GosvmMahrja: this auspicious day he should be merciful to us that we

can enter into Rpa-Raghuntha bhajana.
