Itinerary

Day 01 17 Dec 2009 - ThursdayMuscat Wadi bani Khalid- Wahiba Sands

Around 1400 hrs you will be met by your tour guide and driver who will escort you to thecomforts of our 4 wheel drive to embark on a soft adventurous trip to the great desert ofOman. You will drive through small villages and towns before arriving at Wadi BaniKhalid driving through the mountain offering a panoramic view of the beautiful landscapebelow. You will pass many pretty villages embedded in the mountains. Here the roadwinds down to the wadi along side a large, shallow pool fringed with vegetation & endsat a village. We park our vehicles at this point & continue on a short trek to the deep bluepools of the wadi. If you wish you may enjoy a swim in this glorious grace of nature. It isrecommended to wear comfortable clothes & walking shoes for this trip. After lunchcontinue drive to the great desert of Oman Known as the "Wahiba Sands". Soon you willcome face to face with the enormous desert and our experienced drivers drive youthrough the sand dunes to give you a thrill of dune driving.Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 02 18 Dec 2009 FridayWahiba Sur Wadi Shaab Fins Beach Quriyat Muscat

Breakfast at hotel. 0800hrs you will be met by your guide in the lobby you will embark

your 4 wheel This tour along the coast line to Sur offers breath taking glimpses of theblue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset pristine beaches. Short visit of Sur town & DhowBuilding Yard. Thereafter proceed to Wadi Shaab. Shaab in Arabic, literally means'Ravine between Cliffs "shallow green pools and abundant shade give wadi shaab aperfect setting for a picnic. Continue on the bumpy track, sometimes touching the seafollowing a creek or overlooking superb white beaches hundreds of metres long. Arriveat Fins beach (White beach) stop. After spending some time proceed for Muscat en-route visiting Quriyat, a very large fishing village between the lagoon and the sea. Theport of Quiriyat is still guarded by a watchtower. By evening return back to Muscat. Uponarrival check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Muscat Hotel will be arranged by the guests on their own.

Day 01 19 Dec 2009 SaturdayMuscat Khasab PM 4wd tour of Jebal Harim

Arrive Khasab and you will be met by our tour guide who will escort you to the waitingvehicle to be transferred to Golden Tulip Hotel- Khasab. Check in and time free torelax. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at Hotel and around 1500 hrs using 4 Wheel Drivevehicles, join us on a panoramic journey into the barren interior, we drive to Jebel

Harim, translated as the Mountain of Women (2087 metres), the highest mountain inMusandam. This tour will give you an opportunity to enjoy the dramatic scenery ofMusandams mountains, speckled with fossils dating back several million years. On theway we pass the Bedouin village of Sayah situated at 1100 metres above sea level. Thisis a calm and peaceful village where one can cherish the beauty of Musandam in theplateau of the village. Drive to Rowdah village where one can see the pre-Islamicgraveyard. Drive to Khawr Najid, a stunning view overlooking to Indian Ocean side, youwill be surprised at the scenery here. Then we will drive to see the natural park ofAcacia trees at Khalidiya and return back to Khasab. After the tour return back to thehotel Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel

Day 02 20 Dec 2009 SundayIn Khasab Full day Dhow Cruise with Lunch

After breakfast at the hotel meet the guide at the lobby of the hotel and proceedtowards the waiting vehicle for a full day dhow cruise.

Enjoy an unforgettable day cruising along the Fjords of Musandam on board ourtraditionally decorated Omani Dhow, where you can sit comfortably on cushions andcarpets while feasting your eyes on the striking scenery. A Dhow trip to the fjordsoffers an insight into its fantastic landscape. During the Dhow cruise you can cruiseinto the Straits of Hormuz and discover different villages. The Dhow is anchored at thefamous Telegraph Island, where you can swim and snorkel in the clear waters, there is

also the possibility to see dolphins during on the way. A buffet Lunch, refreshments,soft drinks and mineral water will be served and is included. After the tour return backto the harbour and be transferred to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 21 Dec 2009 Monday

Khasab - Half da y city tour Depa rture

After breakfast at the hotel meet the guide at the lobby of the hotel and proceed for ahalf day city tour of Khasab. This tour takes us on an adventurous and exciting tour tothe capital of Musandam, Khasab, calm, fishing village and oasis, which overlooks theGulf of Arabia and the Straits of Hormuz. Watch the traditional lifestyle of thefisherman and the Bedouins. Visit to the restored Portuguese Fort of Khasab, this fort

has a Museum where many Omani handicrafts items are displayed. We will also pass bythe prehistoric rock carvings depicting camels, ships and warriors in the neighboringvillage of Qadah. After the tour drive to the Khasab airport to catch your flight toMuscat
