EXPERIENCEOPW Engineered Systems. July 2016 – Nov 2016Mechanical Engineering Co-op, Lebanon, Ohio.

Designed, and had fabricated non-powered trucks for material handling and assisted in robotic arc welding. Detailed drawings including tolerances and geometric dimensioning using different CAD tools. Estimating cost of labor and materials, creating a bill of material, and interpreting the needs of the customers. Fashioned ways to solve problems dealing with the fabrication, and modification of existing systems. Developed system for weld traceability through the manufacturing process using barcodes. Writing work instructions to improve safety of CMM probes and quality inspections using dial gauges, micrometers.

Hyundai Motors Ltd. March 2015 – May 2015Automotive Engineering Intern, Hyderabad, India.

Designed solid models and analyzed to aid in root cause analysis for vehicle accidents. Developed failure reports including feedback based on common failures from the automotive industry. Inspected all fuel delivery system for safety, design and failure as well as fabrication issues. Performed system simulation and CFD analysis of hydraulic and air-pressured automotive components.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. February 2014 – May 2014Mechanical Engineering Intern, Hyderabad, India.

Designed/optimized the manufacturing process of a steam turbine blade utilizing Lean Manufacturing techniques. Simulated the above process using Mastercam and developed NC code for a 5-axis CNC machine. Coordinated with engineering department to optimize performance using PLC and Robotic programming.

PROJECT EXPERIENCEUniversity of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH.Modeling and simulation analysis of SMA-actuated stent. Aug 2015 – Dec 2015

Analyzed the major design considerations for stent material composition with respect to Atherosclerosis. Modelled SMA Stent using SolidWorks and performed thermal analysis for steady and transient states using ANSYS.

CVR College of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India.Manufacturing of Pneumatic Wrench Based Compressed Air Vehicle Jan 2015 - May 2015

Designed, optimized vehicle chassis and conducted structural and dynamic analysis for various loads. Fabricated working prototype of the vehicle utilizing lean manufacturing techniques.
