Anutone presents Salon Series that evokes the visuals

and warmth of olde worlde wood for interiors but is

actually derived from a wood substitute, WPC or WoodPlastic Composites (see box on facing page) , that helps

utilise timber wastes and save forests.

Beams, rafters, grids, strips, planks and other wood

profiles are all now possible. Structurally lightweight,

maintenance-free, durable and environmentally-friendly,

the Salon Series results in distinctive interiors that look

good and sound great!

WPC is also known as timber plastics, lumber plastics

or simply bioplastics, an exciting new field of great

interest for the building industry.

Let a wood sample andSalon Series catch fire by aburning candle, remove thecandle after one minute, thewood is still burning, whilethe Salon Series of Anutone

quenches immediately whenthe candle is removed.

Let a wood sample andSalon series dip in the waterat the same time for 30minutes, wood timber hasbeen obviously inflated tosplit and distored, while theSalon Series of Anutone hasnot been affected at all.
