Kick back, relax, and discover the finest in international contemporary art.

We are delighted to present the East End of Long Island with an even more elegant and boutique edition in 2015–now behind the hedges, if you will. Our lineup of 70 top-tier galleries hail from an amazing 14 countries. In fact, the average gallery has traveled an impressive 2,700 miles to come here to meet you. It is truly an international fair for a cosmopolitan audience. Always philanthropic, this year, Opening Night benefits both Guild Hall and the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation. I want to thank Maria and Kenneth Fishel their generosity in the usage of their wonderful grounds. ArtHamptons is also donating the usage of this tent structure for the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation’s major event, A Hamptons Happening, right here, next Saturday, July11. This Friday afternoon, our unique and “tasteful’ fundraiser, Brunch with Jackson Pollock, benefits the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center. Our Friday night ”Meet the Artists” reception, benefits the Southampton Cultural Center.

Thank you for celebrating a portion of your July 4 weekend, with us. In recognition, of the Stars and Stripes, we salute David Datuna’s dramatic 12 ft. glass flag in the front of the fair. Join us on the ARTrageous Fourth, where you can sample handcrafted spirits and wine. Enjoy gourmet Texas BBQ in the indoor and outdoor art café, for an extra fee.

Please peruse the following pages which outline our stimulating program of events. Kudos to our distinguished 2015 honorees: Stan Brodsky as 2015 Honorary Artist, Ruth Appelhof as Lifetime Achievement Awardee, and our Arts Patrons of the Year, Susan and Louis Meisel. Join us at their recognition ceremonies. And our 10+ private receptions and special events are all staged in the beautifully designed indoor and outdoor VIP Lounge, courtesy of Roche Bobois.

I invite you explore the valuable contemporary artworks offered by our exhibitors. Go ahead, indulge yourself. There has never been a better selection of important international contemporary art presented in the Hamptons. Time to place the finishing touches around the house. Experience the satisfaction of hanging a work of art in your home where you can enjoy it daily. Make your visit to ArtHamptons a lasting memory.

On behalf of our many sponsors, and partners, exhibitors and hardworking team, I welcome to the 8th Annual ArtHamptons.

Sincerely,

Rick FriedmanFounder, Executive Director

While over 100 galleries actively sell photography in New York City, Gallery 270 succeeds by catering to both experienced and novice collectors seeking two increasingly rare qualities in the field...value and the unique handmade photograph. We place particular emphasis on distinguished photographers of the 20th Century and emerging photographers of the 21st Century. Employing traditional processes like toned silver gelatin and platinum/palladium where the artist’s hand is much more intimately engaged in the pursuit of results and beauty achievable in no other way. Gallery 270’s raison d’être is to call out and distinguish this special genre of photographic alchemists who are both modern artists and 21st century “old world craftsmen”

Here are discoveries that matter. Discoveries of intrinsic value. We are the leading scholars discovering Post War and Contemporary artists and estate collections that have undeservedly slipped through the cracks of art history. We are highly selective—artists are identified, vetted, and elected by our Art Advisory Board of tough critics. Our mission is to present extraordinary chapters in American art history to collectors, museum curators, gallerists, and fellow historians. For forty years,Peter Hastings Falk and his staff have found satisfaction in bringing true masters to light—and we cherish holding their reputations in trust.

Bert van Zetten, Marcel and Jutta Huisman founded Villa del Arte Galleries in Barcelona in 1999. Their combined commitment, and passion for art, together with a unique approach and willingness to exhibit some lesser-known artists has contributed to an ever-changing contemporary collection of a consistently high standard. Over time Villa del Arte has developed into one of Catalonia’s leading contemporary art galleries. The gallery represents over 30 national and international, established and emerging painters, photographers and sculptors. In addition, we recently opened a new gallery in Amsterdam which has enabled us to hold collective and solo exhibitions as well as providing Villa del Arte with greater capabilities to showcase new talent. With this new space our international presence in the art scene has grown noticeably providing new opportunities and projects that we are already working on.
