for readings where 110 volt current is not available or it is inconvenient to plug-in. Motor of battery model operates on two lantern batteries of sufficient strength for 300 readings. Batteries are standard Ever-Ready No. 409 and Burgess No. 1842, and can be replaced at electrical deal­ers.

Both models are compact, light weight and well built for many years of service, with ordinary care. The front part of the carry­ing case is removable. The case is carried in an upright position so that water can be kept in the water chamber, ready for instant use. A dropper bottle for a reserve supply of distilled water is also contained in the case. Table for computing relative humidity and pocket slide rule for determining direct reading relative humidity are furnished with each instrument.
