I am presently employed at EMERSON DESIGN & ENGINEERING CENTER Pune

.Since January 1, 2009 to till date. My work domain involves as given below and my

Developing Device Drivers for Hard Devices

Flow device configuration and Testing

Instrument Configuration and Testing

In Emerson we develop various product for measurement of temp., pressure etc. These devices work on

various digital protocols. The host system needs to understand the device capabilities. The capabilities of

each device are made available in Device Description (EDD). I work on this to develop these EDDs. Job

is to use existing devices for communication with Host. This involves working with protocols like HART,

FOUNDATION FIELDBUS and PROFIBUS.

I am presently working with Flow Transmitters, level Transmitters, and pressure Transmitters, Gas

chromatographs of companies like

1) Rosemount 2) Rosemount Analytical 3) Micro Motion etc.

PREVIOUS EMPLOYER

I was previously employed with an German MNC BECKHOFF AUTOMATION, Pune since October

1 2008 to December 31 2008 as Internship Trainee for 3months and successfully completed my trainee

period before joining present employer .Beckhoff being an Automation giant I got to work with PLCs

precisely PC Based Automation Technology some of there product are Embedded PCs, Servo Drives,

Industrial PCs, Bus coupler and controller and I/O technology. Also had opportunity to work with

HMIs like MAPLE, RENU and DELTA.

During my 3months at Beckhoff I also worked on protocols such as Profibus, Modbus, RS232, RS485,

Device net etc. Also learnt PLC programming and did on site programming for couple of customers

working on IEC 61131-3 (PLC programming: Structured Text (ST), Sequential Function Chart (SFC),

Continuous Function Chart (CFC), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Ladder Diagram (LD)) on Windows

PC platforms and giving Application & Support solutions.

Automatic signaling is done using relays and magnetic switches.

The gate is controlled automatically and the track cuts are alsodetected. Magnetic switch detects train and stepper motor driven

passes.
