The owner of Sweetwater Creek Honey Farm has gotten feedback from customers that their website looks outdated, is difficult to use, and doesn’t look good on mobile devices.

Redesign the current website. The new website should be easy to use, looking good and mobile friendly.


1 INTERACTION

A. Unorganized Information Architecture

1. Click "Buy Honey Now", shows the same honey selections as index;

2. "Photo Gallery" should be put under "About us";

3. "Contact us" shows the same thing as "Bulk Honey Pick Up";

4. No need to put "Recipes" on the main menu.

B. Inconsistency

1. The locations and contents of the main and shopping navigation bars in different pages are different;

2. The location of "View Cart".

C. Complex shopping task

1. If users want to learn more about the honey before they buy it, they need to go to "Honey Varieties" then go back to buy;

2. When users want to buy several different honey, they cannot add different items on this page without being redirected. (When click "Add to Cart", redirect to Paypel.)

There are many unclickable title and broken links, which make users make many mistakes.

A. Unorganized Visual Elements

1. No align;

2. Too much information;

3. No hierarchy. It's not easyfor users to focus or find the informationthey want;

4. Bad layout.

B. Inconsistency

1. No same main color on different pages;

2. No font type, size, and color standard;

3. No consistent site logo;

4. Different header and footer.


3 Code

A. Unorganized HTML & CSS

1. Put styles(css) in the html file, it is hard for website maintenance;

2. No "footer" in the HTML.
