The Saint Louis Urban Park
The Cotton Belt Urban Park proposes to restitch the site of the Cotton Belt Freight Depot back to the city of St. Louis, as well as create a new node outside of downtown as a catalyst for future developement in the area. The project focuses on spaces and progams slipping through the site and the existing freight depot to connect everything from the East to the West.

The Greers Ferry Wetland Park
In Edward Durrell Stone’s design for Greers Ferry, the circle at the end of his park for John F. Kennedy’s park is a 400’ area that makes space for a large sound and lights fountain, restaurants, auditorium, and offi ces. In reaction to Stone’s hard way of making space, the project proposes to fl ip his plan and make a wetland park, introducing an ecological thought to the project.

perFORM Portland; Sited in Portland, OR, the project is a mix use of housing and retail that incorporates the idea that a building will produce as much energy as it consumes, eff ectively consuming a net of zero energy. The project uses the heliodon to test the sun patterns of the year. The project takes advantage of a stacked unit’s ability to naturally shade and cross ventilate in the summer, allow for maximum light to reduce on energy cost, and gives every resident their own porch. It is cut through by Sandy Blvd, and is a point in Portland where the industrial meets the residential scale on a line.

The Semester Abroad
Designing with, not only a physical context of streets and buildings, but also with a metaphysical context of history and palimpsest on the ancient Roman Aurelian walls. The project looks into design interventions to revitalize and reactivate the ancient walls. Using a system of stairs and ramps, the project stitches together the two sides of Villa Borghese that has become separated because of the busy road and the wall, itself.

The Yesler Branch Library
The Yesler Branch Library project, set in Seattle WA, focuses heavily on building envelope and how it deals with the rainy climate of the Northwest as well as providing as much natural lighting as possible on a very small site. The envelope is a translucent glass that gathers, diff uses, and refracts light in a region where light is an amenity, while leaving east and west sides clear, to provide views to downtown Seattle.

The Return of the Fayetteville Fire Station
An iteration of Fire Station 1, the site is moved to the corner of Garland and Cleveland St., at the northern edge of the University of Arkansas, where the scale of the University must meet the scale of a small neighborhood. The project provides a tower for viewing the NWA landscape as well as a practice tower for the fi remen, that snakes around to create a privatized outdoor space for the fi remen.

The Fayetteville Fire Station
Fire Station 1: Located at a triangular lot of North St., Mt. Comfort Rd., and Lindell Ave. in Fayetteville, NW AR, the fi re station project deals with topography and city zoning and codes. The fi re house takes North st. on the bottom level and tilts, in plan, at the second level, to be parallel with Mt. Comfort rd.

The McIntosh Group is an ADA specialized fi rm, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The summer internship focused on producing AutoCAD drawings, such as existing base plans and elevations per surveys, photo documentation, inspections, and measurements. As a research assistant for Prof. Franklin Jacobus. The Koolhaas Bubblebath focuses on a lineage of famous architects and their predecessors, assuming Wikipedia and Hyperlinks as gospel. The Diagram shows a family tree timeline, beginning with a single architect and branching out, depending on the word of Wikipedia.
