allo9 e3porters. inter alia. to e3tinguish the e3cess packing cre/it b- e3port bills /ra9n in respect of b-%pro/uctlike cashe9 shell oil. etc+
b2 Where partial /omestic sale is in7ol7e/
Ho9e7er. in respect of e3port of agro%base/ pro/ucts like tobacco. pepper. car/amom. cashe9 nuts etc+. the
e3porter has necessaril- to purchase a some9hat larger @uantit- of the ra9 agricultural pro/uce an/ gra/e it into

an/ una7oi/able+ Banks shoul/ also satisf- themsel7es about the 7ali/ reasons as to 9h- packing cre/it e3ten/e/for shipment of a particular commo/it- cannot be li@ui/ate/ in the normal metho/+ As far as possible. the
substitution of contract shoul/ be allo9e/ if the e3porter maintains account 9ith the same bank or it has the
appro7al of the members of the consortium. if an-+
b2 8he e3isting packing cre/it ma- also be marke/%off 9ith procee/s of e3port /ocuments against 9hich no packincre/it has been /ra9n b- the e3porter+ Ho9e7er. it is possible that the e3porter might a7ail of E4C 9ith one bank
an/ submit the /ocuments to another bank+ In 7ie9 of this possibilit-. banks ma- e3ten/ such facilit- after ensurin
that the e3porter has not a7aile/ of packing cre/it from another bank against the /ocuments submitte/+ If an-
packing cre/it has been a7aile/ of from another bank. the bank to 9hich the /ocuments are submitte/ has to ensurthat the procee/s are use/ to li@ui/ate the packing cre/it obtaine/ from the first bank+
