Vishistadvaitam, the philosophy behind Vaishnavism, is the system of thought,
the essence of Vedas, where Narayana is described as the Supreme. About 1000 years ago, Bhagavad Ramanuja, the reincarnation of Adisesha, the Universal Acharya, spread this philosophy and propagated its principles for the benefi t of one and all.

True to this, after 1000 years, H.H. Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji, popularly known as Peddha Jeeyar Swami (1908-1979), continued this noble mission of Bhagavad Ramanuja by conducting many yagas and multifarious socio-spiritual activities. 108 Sri Rama Krathus, “All India Veda Vidwat Sammelan” 1st Harijan Colony in India are only to name a few.
Taking over the reins in 1980 after H.H. Jeeyar Swamiji attained Siddhi, His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji, performed the last 4 of the 108 Swadhyaya Jnana Yajnams started by Senior Jeeyar Swami. Sriman U.Ve. T.K. Gopalacharya Swami, has been the Guru to HH Sri Peddha Jeeyar Swamiji and also to Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. Under the tutelage of Sriman T.K. Gopalacharya Swami Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji mastered Rig Veda, Divya Prabhandam and Upanishads. His Holiness started Jeeyar Educational Trust, fulfi lling the dream of Sri Peddha Jeeyar Swami, in teaching the Vedas on Gurukulam system, thereby protecting the Vedas from further extinction.
H.H. Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, an Abhinava of Bhagavad Ramanuja has been ardently
propagating the tenets of Vishistadvaitam through numerous programmes such as the Pushkara Brahma Yajnas, Viswa Shanthi Sri Maha Vishnu Yagam at Tirupati, Sri Yagam at Tiruchanur, Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, Viraat Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanams, Gita Jyothi, Acharya Seva Yathra, Sri Venkateswara Saranagati Deeksha, etc., besides His powerful yet simple and easy to understand discourses be it on spiritual texts or on subjects relating to Human Values. His Holiness is a leading light and spiritual beacon to countless souls.
H.H. Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji’s compassion and kindness for all living beings brought forth the Vikasatarangini, the service wing. Sri Swamiji has done yeomen service for people affected by natural calamities, such as building of houses for the victims of Gujarat Earthquake, providing relief for the Konaseema cyclone affected in A.P., building of houses for the Tsunami affected at Poompuhar, T.N., besides distributing fi shing boats, fi shing nets, and also building a Matsyanarayana Perumal Temple for Tsunami victims at Kovalam near Chennai. Jeeyar Gurukulam is running two schools for Tribals at remote places of Adilabad in Allampalli and Beersaipet in A.P., a school and Jr. College for Blind as “Netra Vidyalaya”. Annadhanam is a daily routine for the pilgrims of Srirangam, Melkote, Tirupati, Rishikesh and Badrinath. The upcoming project of His Holiness ”Jeeyar Integrated Vedic Academy” (JIVA), at Shamsabad near Hyderabad will house 1200 students who will be taught Vedas, Agamas, Divya Prabhandam, Tatva Vidya and also technical education besides running a Vedic Research Institute.

Deities were worshipped by Sri Peddha Jeeyar Swami and now by His Holiness Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. With the Bhagavad Anugraham of these Deities, programmes such as 108 Sri Rama Krathus, 108 Swadhyaya Jnana Yajnas, and Congregation of 2000 Vedic Pandits at the All India Veda Vidwat Sammelan, 1008 homakunda Viswa Shanthi Sri Maha Vishnu Yagam, Sri Yagam, and Viraat Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanams, etc. were performed. All the social service activities of both the seers were also performed in the benign presence and blessings of Sri Sita Ramachandra Perumal.
We may vividly recollect that the Aaradhana Deities of Saint Thyagaraja were stolen and
then reinstated. Similarly apahaaranam was done
to the Aaradhana Deities of Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji in November 1993, when the vigrahas were stolen on the night of the T h i r u n a k s h a t r a
Mahotsavam of His Holiness. Our Acharya had then vowed not to take even a sip of water until the deities were found and reinstalled. On the 3rd day, Sriman Koteswara Rao, the then S.I. of Police, found the deities and brought them back with due reverence and fervor.
To mark this day, as a tradition, every year His Holiness Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami Varu performs SAHASRAKALASABHISHEKAM to SRI SITA RAMACHANDRA PERUMAL and Sri Koteswara Rao Garu is honoured by His Holiness on the day.
