    A PROTOTYPE

A prototype is the first or original example ofsomething that has been or will be copied or

developed; a model or preliminary version. It isan important and vital part of the product

    development process.

Prototyping is the process of realizing these

prototypes. The process can range from just anexecution of a computer program to the actualbuilding of a functional prototype.

    Work Experience Vs Chemical Engineering

Knowledge of process softwares i.e. MATLAB, HYSYS

and CAD softwares lies within the scope of process

modeling and simulation aspects of ChemicalEngineering.

Understanding of the stages involved in product

design; and economic considerations of production at

minimal operating costs. Chemical engineers designprocess with overall objective to maximize profits

AMT training obtained at PEDI has illuminatedmy theoretical knowledge of Process Systems

Engineering, on the design, operation, optimization and

    control of Industrial chemical processes.
