Proses yang bertujuan untuk menghilangkan warna-warna yang disebabkan oleh karena adanya
pigmen-pigmen alam atau zat-zat lain, sehingga diperoleh bahan yang putih.
Zat-zat pengelantang:
1. Bersifat oksidator:- engandung khlor:
