TITLE: Study Of Risk Perception Of Investors. A Case Study Of Ahmadabad

Description:

My study was based on the financial instruments available in the market. In stock market, there is a sayingthat the higher the risk higher the returns, with a possibility of loss depending upon the level of risk taken

by the investors. There are different investment options available by investing different securities. And this

investment depends upon investors to investors. This study of investment risk has gained importance as

more volatility visible in the stock market prices of different companies. Thus this study was based on

understanding, the degree to which different investors are ready to take more risk depending upon their

level of income, age and occupation. The investors were analyzed on the basis of these factors and their risk

attitude perception was determined. This study was helpful for my company as well as for me in knowing

about the market and the risk aggressiveness of investors.

Findings:

1. Income and age both played a major role in investments decision2. Investors of low income and more age were less aggressive as compared to the those investors who

were having more income

3. Based on occupation, the entrepreneurs divisions were more aggressive to retailers and managers.
