Nadathur Sarangapani Raghavan is an Indian industrialist, and one of the seven founders of Infosys Technologies.

N.S. Raghavan is a co-founder and former Joint Managing Director of Infosys.

Raghavan is the first official employee of the Infosys company.

He worked as a chairman at for one year Murugappa long with a few associates.

Along with a few associates, he started Nadathur Holdings & Investments in 2000.

Currently he is the chairman of the advisory council .

Infosys in 2000 to promote his vision of entrepreneurship.

He set up the N. S. Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) at Indian Institute of Management .

Samhita Social Ventures, the newlyminted arm of the Nadathur Trust, hopes to alter the Indian philanthropic landscape through a series of initiatives.

NSR hopes to do is chaperone Indian philanthropy from a charitable, crisis-alleviation mode to a sector that can perhaps take on, and address, larger developmental issues.

Much of philanthropic money is directed at core causes, and little is deployed to strengthen and build capacities of institutions.
