§ ImportantDatesPleaseReferAcademicCalendar

After online registration at IMS, submission of documents (self attested IMS generatedregistrationreportand feereceiptsverifiedbyaccounts) ismandatorybystudentswithindue date (mentioned in Academic Calendar/ general notice circulated) at the office ofAcademics(RoomNo.206).

• ForYearbackstudents,registrationatERPsectiononly.

• Detail procedure of online course registration and fee payment is given inAnnexureI.

§ NoDuesClearance:

• Studentsmandatorilyhave to complete their respective“NoDues”, immediateafter

the completion of previous end semester examination (if any). Respectivedepartments,library,hostel,accountsandmesswillissuethelistofstudentswhomaynot be entitled for registration. Corresponding students will be blocked for onlinecourse registration and corresponding message will also be flashed at the student’saccountinIMS.

§ CourseRegistration:

• After successful clearance of No Dues (if any) only, students will be allowed toproceedforonlinecourseregistration.

• Online course registration is complete responsibility of students and there is norequirement of approval by office ofHead of theDepartments/Office of Academics/ERPsectionetc.

• Pre – registration for elective andopen elective courseswill bedonewell before the

commencementofanysemester.

• DASAstudentcannotpaytheirTuitionFeethroughIMS(PaymentGateway)thatwillbedoneonlythroughNEFT/RTGSinUSD(preferably).

• Inthisregard,theyarestrictlyadvisedtonottoclickthepaynowbuttonvisibleattheirpaymentpageinIMS.

• DASAstudentshavetopaytuitionfeeinUSDollars($)only(preferably).

• ForfeepaymentkindlyrefertothefeestructureavailableatNITDelhiwebsite.

§ FeeReceiptGenerationandVerification:

• Foronlinefeepayment:Aftersuccessfulonlinefeepayment,studentsarerequestedtotakeprintoutsoftheonlinefeereceiptgeneratedatIMSandverify(dulysigned)bytheofficialofAccountsdepartmentatNITDelhi.

• For offline fee payment: students have to personally submit the demand draft (nocashwillbeallowed)of appropriateamount (includingbacklogpapers, if any)at theAccountsDepartmentofNITDelhiandsubsequentlyaccountsdepartmentwillgenerateafeereceiptforthem.

• ForDASAstudents:TheNEFT/RTGSreceiptgeneratedfromtheirrespectivebankwillhave to be submitted at the Accounts department of NIT Delhi by the studentspersonallyandaccountsdepartmentwillcorrespondinglygeneratethefeesubmissionreceipt.

• Important:DurationforPaymentConfirmation:Thepaymentgatewayusuallytakes

requested to proceed for online fee payment well in advance, so that the entireconfirmation and verification process may be completed within due datementionedinAcademiccalendar.

§ CompletionofRegistration:

• After successful feepayment, students inperson,musthave to submit theabove feereceipt (for online, offline and DASA cases) (self attested) duly verified by theAccountsDepartmentandIMSgeneratedregistrationreport(selfattested)attheoffice of Academics (Room No. 206), positively within due date mentioned inAcademicCalendar.

• Aftercompletionaboveonly,theentireregistrationprocesswillbeconsideredtobecompletedwithoutlatefee.Otherwiseitwillbeconsideredincomplete.§ RegistrationwithLateFee:

§ Only late fee submission will be possible during the datesmentioned in Academic

Calendar,however,onlinecourseregistrationwillbeclosedaccordingtoAcademiccalendarbeforethat.

§ ImportantNote:Even,ifastudentcompleteshis/heronlineregistrationprocess,eventhefeepayment,withinduedatebutfailtosubmithis/herfeereceiptandregistration report at the office of Academics within due date, even then, theregistrationprocesswillbeconsideredasregistrationwithlatefee..

§ The late fee will be Rs. 500 per day basis according to Institute rules andregulations.

• Enrollmentno.,SemesterCode,Name,Program,Branch,Section,AcademicYearandPreRegistrationforsemesterandInstitutewillbeautomaticallydisplayedforthestudentwhohasloggedin.

• First the formforbacklogcourseswillappearwherestudentsarerequestedto fillupthecoursesproperlydependingonthepromotionruleofNIT.

• The student can register from Back Paper List by checking the “Choice” check box.“Mode”will be enabled and the student can opt for Subject from the given option of“StudyMode”or“ExaminationMode”.

• Once the student selects the “Mode”, the “Back Paper Amount” to be paid will bedisplayedfortheselectedcourse(s).

• After filling up back log courses (if any), click on the “-->” button to proceed for theregistrationofregularcourses.

Ifstudentwishestopayfeesofflinethentheyarerequestedtofollowthefollowingsteps:

• After completion of subject registration online, Students are requested to contactaccountsdepartmentatNITDelhi(Admin-Iroom).

• Studentsarerequestedtoconveytheirenrollmentnumberproperly to therespective

in-chargewhowillproceedfortheproperfeesubmission.

• Studentsarerequestedtocometothe institutewithaproperdemanddraftpreparedearlierdependingonthenumberofcoursestheywishtoregisterforanddependingontherespectivedues.

• On upon verification and submission of proper fee through accounts department,

studentswillbeprovidedwithareceiptoftheirfeesubmission.CompletionofStudentRegistration:

• AfterthatitismandatoryforastudenttosubmittheIMSgeneratedregistrationreport(selfattested)andonlinegeneratedfeereceipt(dulyverifiedbyAccounts)totheofficeofAcademics(RoomNo.206)tocompletetheregistrationwithinduedatementionedinAcademicCalendar.Otherwiseabove,theregistrationwillnotbeconsideredcompleted.
