1 The early man stayed in forests inthe beginning. He used to stay

below the trees. He saw the nest ofthe birds, he too had the desire to

make house to stay. He made house

    and saved himself from sunlight,

    rain and wild animals. He

    gradually become civilized

    Therefore his necessities

increased.2 The man began to cut trees to make

    house and fulfill his necessities.

By this the forests began to be

    destroyed. By destroying the

    forests, the environment began to

    spoil.By spoiling of the

    environment, the rain became less.

Heat increased. By increase in the

heat, the snow began to melt. By

melting of the snow, the water

level in the seas has begun to

increase. Because of this, there is

a fear of the cities on the river

banks to drown.3 These forests and trees are the

part of nature. These parts of the

nature are protecting us. These are

    the protector of the animals.

Therefore it is our duty to protect

    them.

    Invention/discovery

1 It is being said that man developed throughthe monkey. In the beginning he used to make

a living after eating animals and birds. He

used to live in one place. His requirements

were less. When he found out the fire, from

that time there was a change in his life. His

area of life increased. In one side, hisrequirements increased and on other side

population also increased. He started living

in far off (places). To fulfill his

requirement he had to travel from one place

    to another.

2 To increase the speed of his travel, hestarted riding on fast moving animals. But he

was not satisfied in this travel and speed.

On seeing round stones he made wheels. After

making of the wheel there was a revolution

in speed of travel. By making cycles, motor

car, trains etc man made land travel easy and

    fast.

3 Now mans attention was on Water ways. Hemade boats on seeing the wood floating on

water. Then slowly he made ships. By these

means he made travel on water easy.

4 Now remained the sky. By seeing the birdsflying , man had a desire to fly in the sky.He thought well and made the aeroplane.

Through the aeroplane he had a control over

    the (sky).

5 By this way, for fulfilling his requirementsman used his intelligence and controlled

land-water and sky. Today man can travel to

far place in less time comfortably.
