    Dear fellow toastmasters,

Have you ever needed to give that "on the spot" one or two minute elevator speech when someone asks

you what you do at work or what you would like to be doing in the future? Does your job require you to

speak frequently to senior executives? Do you give presentations in front of your peers and colleagues, but

never feel really comfortable? Do you want to learn how to communicate an idea you have and learn how

to persuade others to join your cause? Have you wondered how best to develop and strengthen your lead-

ership skills? Toastmasters can help with these and more! Toastmaster is a self-paced adult learning pro-

gram where you set your goals and reach these goals at a pace youre comfortable with around people who

will support you through mentoring and constructive feedback on your journey.

Toastmasters is about self-actualization, which is described as being the transformation of an individual's

potential into tangible skills and enhanced self-confidence. Through this metamorphosis we become more

effective in our workplace community and family.

We are united in our quest to become the best we can be and help our fellow members to do the same.

Each of us strive to make ourselves better each meeting and I am sure you too share the same thought.

Toastmasters offer so much more than improved communications skills. Members find ample opportunities

to polish their leadership abilities by performing a variety of tasks and roles. Developing listening and criti-

cal thinking skills creates a complete interpersonal communication package for our members. The Com-

munication Track and the Leadership Track are not mutually exclusive.

It's been said that "If you want to grow as a person, surround yourself with people who want to grow - and

you will all grow together." By participating as a club member, while you are building your speaking and

leadership skills, you are also building close relationships with other like-minded leaders.

As President, I have had the great privilege to be the member of Qatar Malayalam Toastmasters club. The

ability to communicate a vision clearly to a broad audience is a necessity for anyone seeking to call people

to action. What is more interesting, however, is that building your speaking skills in and of itself will develop

your leadership. That's why Toastmasters International considers itself Where Leaders are Made.

    Nature Song

Nature, a precious place to live in,

    Has natural beauty, attractive meadows,

    Chirping birds, charming valleys,

    Delicious fruits, fragrant flowers

And trees fat, lean and tall

    Destroy not our beautiful mother

Destroy not for she is our beloved mother

    When we destroy our mother

    She takes revenge over us

And gives a chance for our enemy

    Global warming that changes nature

When it does we all bid adieu to motherland
