NOTICE INVITING ONLINE APPICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT OF VICE CHANCELLOR FOR DEVI AHIL YA UNIVERSITY, INDORE (M.P)

Advt. No. F 1-2/20/G.S./U.A.l/ (9 (b Dated ~ June, 2020 . It is proposed to appoint a Vice-Chancellor for the Devi Ahilya University, Indore, established under the Madhya Pradesh Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 1973 (No. 22 of 1973), out of a panel to be recommended by a Committee, appointed in terms of section 13(2) of said Act.

2. The vice-chancellor shall hold office for a term of 04 years from the date on which he enters office.

3. !4-s the Vice Chancellor is the Principal and Academic Officer of the University, he should have h19h~st ~evel of competence, integrity, morals and institutional committment. He should also be. a d_1stmgu1shed academician with a minimum of ten years of experience as Professor in a University system or ten years of experience . in an equivalent position in a reputed research and/or academic, administrative organization.

4. In support of his unblemished career and undoubted integrity, the applicant should file a self attested certificate to the effect that no enquiry is instituted/ commenced/pending in Lokayukt Sangathan, Economic Offence Bureau or any other organization against him at any level.

5. Along with the application, in case the applicant is in service, he should file a certificate of his employer / head of the office to the effect that no departmental enquiry is pending against him.

6. In case of any enquiry conducted as above in earlier years, details of such cases and final conclusion of the enquiry shall have also to be clearly mentioned by the applicant in the self · attested certificate.

7. Applications rceived on or before last date through nomination by the eminent persons in the prescribed format shall also be taken into consideration. Eminent person means Principal \. Secretary of concerned Administrative Department, sitting Vice Chancellor of Madhya Pradesh .1o State Government Universities, Director of I.LT./ A.I.I.M.S./1.1.M. Format is available on

/ a Both nominating person and the person being nominated are required to submit the online application up to the last date. After that the nominating person will send the application by post as per para 09. ·

9. The aspirant for the post of Vice-Chancellor may submit his/her applicati<:>n and ,docume~ts online on or before 05th of August, 2020 on the link available on RaJbhavan s website "governor.mp.gov.in" and send selfsigned on every page of generated receipt_ and downloa~ed copy of application submitted with documents alongwith bio-data (in two copies) and required certificates to the Secretary, Governor's Secretariat, Rajbhavan, Bhopal- _462q03 (M:P.) _ by registered/speed post etc. "Application for the post of Vice-Chancellor, Devi AhIlya University, Indore (M.P.)" should be super-scribed on the upper part of envelope.

10. The candidature of those who indulge in undue influencing on the selection process through unethical means shall stand cancelled.

11. Alongwith the provIsIons of Act and Statute regarding the process followed in the appointment of Vice Chancellor, the provisions laid down in the guidelines issued vide Rajbjavan's office order no. 3279/2019/G.S./U.A.l dated 05-12-19 and available on Rajbhavan's website will also be followed.

12. Applications received after the prescribed date shall not be considered. This office shall not be responsible for postal delay.

13. Any application received directly without online submission shall , not be taken in to consideration. Online submission of application is compulsory. \
