PROJECT OVER VIEW Energy usage in a society is linked with the standards of living and economic growth. India has seen manifold increase in energy production and consumption since independence. However the production of energy has not been able to keep pace with the growing demand of its use. Exceptions apart, energy in form of electricity is in short supply all over the country. Hundreds of villages are not connected with the power grid and a large number of the electrified ones only have a single electricity pole. Currently, India is ranked sixth in terms of primary energy consumption (Commercially traded fuels only) with 3.5% share. On the other hand, India accounts for almost 15% of world population. The country has heavily depended on conventional sources of energy like coal, oil and gas for producing electricity and in absence of these fuel in large quantity, as a country is import dependent for its energy requirements.

THE COMPANY The project is running under the brand name of SHRI SOLAR The company name has a strong recall and is associated with strong service offering.

INTRODUCTION The project is promoted by Mr. SANJAY KUMAR DWIVEDI. He has done b.tech and diploma in mechanical Engineering. He has worked in solar division of BOROSIL GLASS WORKS LTD and UTTAM URJA Project of Tata Energy Research institute (TERI) . He has been 8+ year working experience in solar energy companies. In this process he managed the work of channel management, after sales service, promotion of the technologies and brand. He worked and developed process and procedure for identifying the need of the people and in suggesting the customization of the technologies. He also trained the stakeholders on different aspects related to the technologies ensuring the creation of an effective service providing chain. He has decided to become entrepreneur and take the project work ahead in a new sustainable entity. Finally company has start with name of SHRI BADRINATH VAIKALPIK URJA and brand name SHRI SOLAR at 3 Jun 2009. As the project has come to an establish point, SHRI SOLAR now running the project as a commercial entity to leverage all the efforts put in During last 4+ years and to continue serving the region to meet its Energy requirement. The project would act as a value added channel providing innovative design and high quality service to customers, a strong brand and a sound vendor network to the dealer and a continuous and strong order book to vendors. The company has a decided to focus to continue working in HP, J&K, Bihar, Punjab, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.
