    INTRODUCTION Traffic research has the goal to optimize

    traffic flow of people and goods.

    Traffic light optimization is a complexproblem. Even for single junctions there

    might be no obvious optimal solution.

    .We propose two approaches. In the firstapproach - to take data/input/image fromobject/subject/vehicle.

    In the second approach - to process theinput data by Computer andMicrocontroller and finally display it on thetraffic light signal to control the ClosedLoop System and also optimized visualmonitoring of traffic using Camera.

    Wireless sensor network

    A wireless sensor network (WSN) is a

    wireless network consisting of spatially

    distributed autonomous devices using sensors tocooperatively monitor physical or environmental

    conditions, such as temperature, sound, vibration,

    pressure, motion or pollutants, at different

    locations.

    The development of wireless sensor

    networks was originally motivated by military

    applications such as battlefield surveillance.

    However, wireless sensor networks are now

    used in many civilian application areas, including

    environment and habitat monitoring, healthcare

    applications, home automation, and traffic control.

    All Traffic camera systems are digital and provideProsecutable images in all weather conditions, 24 hours a day.

    The 11 Mega pixel camera will cover 4 lanes plus a hard

    shoulder showing context (scene) information and clearly

    readable license plates.

    The minimum rate of image capture for a typical

    installation, taking into consideration the flash

    recharge rate, is approximately 300 milliseconds.

    CONCLUSION

    In this paper we propose approaches to controller themultiple traffic light in a City by applying a simple

    method using wireless communication network and

    GatsometerSpeed Equipment and Traffic Light Cameras

    for display and monitoring City traffic.

    In this paper we also approaches the another aspect of

    traffic control is controlling traffic light in a way that

    minimize the time drivers have to wait.
