One who has perfect devotion to the Devi Tara, a wise person who clearly recites this,

remembering her in the evening, at dusk and at dawn upon rising, will be granted absolute fearlessness.

She pacifies all one’s unwholesome actions and all rebirth in the lower realms will be averted.

Seventy million Bhagavats will swiftly initiate one,

in this life one shall attain greatness and ultimately proceed to Buddhahood.

The strongest poisons, environmental or in the form of other beings, whether eaten or drunk,

will be completely purified by this act of remembrance.

One will be free from all forms of suffering caused by poisons, epidemics and negative forces.

This applies to other beings, as well. If one chants these stanzas with conviction two, three or seven times,

if one wishes for a child, one will have a child, if one wishes for wealth, it shall be obtained.

One’s aspirations will be fulfilled and all negative forces will be subdued.

This completes the one hundred and eight padas in praise of the sacred Arya Tara by the complete and perfect buddha Vairoçana.
