Hello Everybody ! !

I am Rajarshi Sadhya. This is the first time i m writing

to chetana groups.

I'm a fresh ECE graduate(2004 batch)from W.B and looking for a job in a good company.

This group has been a BIG help for me regarding qeustion papers and other valuableinformation.

I want to express my deep sense of gratitude to CHETANA Madam and others who r

alongside herand thank all of its members.

Friends,i appeared in the Satyam Test held in"TECHNO INDIA COLLEGE",SALT LAKE,CALCUTTA on 26thJune-04.

I cleared the Aptitude Test but couldn't clear the GD.

Test Details :

2200(approx)appeared.700(approx)shortlisted for GD.200(approx)shortlisted for Interview.

[1st phase:]

Apt test:(15 questions,30 mins)1 mark each,-ve marking:1 for 4 wrong ans.

I am trying my best to give an idea about the questions I facedas far as I can remember.

* u have a fence of 128 sq mtr,how much max area u can sorround with this?

(32*32=1024)

* P Q R S* T choices given about the values of P,Q,R,S,T.

------------- find the correct one.

* How much it would cost to paint a 2-story house.

A formula given regarding width & length of each floor,

so very easy to calcuate.* The prob of how many person's to be born on the same 2 days in a week is 1/2?

* 2 questions on simple logical reasoning.A short paragraph is given first and

questions followed based on the paragraph in each case.* A bank remains open on Sat & Sun.2 managers(U,V),4 tellers(X,Y,Z,W),

2 officer(S,T).Each work for a full day in a week.

SOME CONDS GIVEN.Follws the questions..based on the conds,What couldn't be true.

If *** works on Sat,*** works on sunday....

.....such types.

* "fill in the blank" with a sequence of numbers which r in a specific ratio.(I can't remember the numbers)

* Some others about simple math ability which could easily be answered.

-------*****There were no tough q's like summers this time.

*****questions as a whole was easy,...some q,s were tricky.

*****Choice of the q's is most imp and also to keep u'r cool for that 30 mins.*****I answered 9 and probably all of them were correct.cut off marks(most probably 6

or 7)

[2nd phase:]

GD:----

* our topic was "Should india be divided into 50 states?"* some other topics:"Choice of P.M:Sonia Gandhi & Manmohon Singh".

"Privatisation of public sector".

Regarding GD:--------------

We were given only 10 mins.It was then 5 o'clock in THE AFTERNOON.

so,they were in a hurry.We were a grp of 10 persons. Our GD was no more a GD itself.It became a debate.Almost everyone was trying to interfare others.

So i don't know how they selected 4 people out of those 10.

It was nowhere close to a GD.I tried sometime to control the situation when it was becoming to much noisy,but alas..

.....what was in their(Satyam)mind,I don't know.

Anybody would have been selected from our group.It's luck that matters most.......So,be prepared for these kind of situations.
