Annual procurement of around INR 350 crores. Achieved savings of 1.2 crores till date for 2016-17 by development of new vendors for various factory

Proactively reduced the working capital by complete invoicing of supplies made in 2013-14,2014-15,2015-16 Effectively reduced generated scrap to 2.5% for 2015-16 from 2.8% in 2013-14 & 4% in 2012-13 by optimization

requirements. Balancing of Load (Projects) between factories and overseeing factory operational execution (WC & Conversion

Cost) is within stipulated financial targets set by management. Overseeing the planning and execution of activities related to client inspection of transmission line tower parts. Carrying out the Documentation for QMS, EMS and OHSAS. Monitoring inbound and outbound warehousing activities of Raw materials and finished products to maintain on

time delivery schedule. Coordinating with Finance for the sales tax related matters and issues like submitting of monthly returns, issuing

& obtaining of forms i.e. ‘C’ & ‘F’, looking timely completion of VAT & CST Audits and if any other sales tax issues and regular correspondences.

Providing value added customer services by visiting agency location to rationalize the transportation cost and minimize travelling time.

Identifying the non-movable/ slow moving stocks and driving liquidation initiatives through auction or special discount schemes. Provide needed support for quick disposal of scrap.

Key projects handled:

Lot Wise Production (Lean Manufacturing) – Chain management team member which introduced the concept of lot wise production which resulted in reduced invoicing cycle time, maintaining optimum inventory, reduced working capital.

Stream lined Quantity Release Mechanism – introduced the concept of Monthly Quantity Release which benefited the Business Unit as a whole in terms of inventory management, working capital management and cash flow.

Panel Wise Packing of tower parts- Concept of panel wise packing has revolutionized tower erection productivity at sites resulting in annual savings of around 6 crores for Business Unit and also receiving praise from client for timely completion of projects.
