I submit my resume with great enthusiasm towards venturing into the Oil & Gas industry.

My keen interest in the Energy Sector has led me to familiarise myself with industry jargon, current

market practices, major players, upstream and downstream operations, the geological aspects of oil

exploration, as well as commodity trading platforms. I assure you that my lack of industry experience is

compensated by my thirst for knowledge and passion for this subject. I am confident that given the

opportunity, I will get myself up to speed in no time and prove to be an asset to your organisation.

Im a hard worker and have always been the kind of person you can depend on to get the job done, no

matter what it takes. I learn fast and have a track record of exceeding targets. My past roles have

primarily been sales-managerial ones, and I work just as well independently as I do with a team.

My predominant strength is my ability to connect with people. I attribute this to my upbringing; I was

born in Paris and raised in Mauritania, France and India, before settling down in Singapore. I have spent

considerable time among a wide spectrum of individuals across a variety of cultures. Consequently, I

read people well and can relate to them in a way that allows me to get more out of any interaction. This

ability has always been particularly useful to me in closing deals.

The past year has been an especially exciting one. At the beginning of 2011, I co-founded a web-based

business with two partners. The company was acquired by a larger entity within months. I was invited to

join their management team of three Harvard/Stanford alumni and a Silicon Valley whiz-kid. Suffice to

say, these past few months have been an incredible learning experience and an enjoyable journey. As

part of the acquisition agreement, I was to work full-time for them for a period of six months (which got

extended to eight months). This ended in April.

I am now looking for a new challenge, in Oil & Gas. Ideally, I see myself in a sales or trading role.
