To effectively lead, drive and manage the Sourcing & Buying, Merchandising & QA/QC Liaison office team, Manufacturing & Supply Chain team to achieve maximum results and Organizational growth and goal. Manage department staffing costs in line with budgets. Communication and relationship management with marketing team to ensure we have the most competitive offers in the market place. Working closely with marketing department heads to decide how goods should be displayed to maximize customer interest and sales. Ensure the buying, Merchandising teams are effectively resources, directed, motivated and developed enabling them to reach their full potential for both individual and Company benefit. Ensure team members are kept abreast of current issues both at departmental and Company level through effective communication forums.

  • Drive and develop the performance of the team with a view to optimizing output and achievement of objectives whilst effectively managing performance issues. Adopt a senior leadership role within the business and in conjunction with other members of the Operating Board take ownership for setting and leading Company direction and strategy. Develop, communicate and execute supply chain strategies, including Supplier Management; creating commodity strategy to create synergy with strategic & preferred suppliers. Supplier contracts, supplier database management and global supply base consolidation. Sourcing decisions, Cost analysis, regular negotiations, identifying and controlling prices as per cost drivers in commodities. Cost monitoring and cost reduction by effective methods like regular negotiations and value engineering proposals. Supplier and commodity data analysis and preventive activities based on market trends. General supervision and direction of team. Review and approve decisions on pricing, lead times, MOQ and other purchasing trends. Organize work and monitor spends with correct and strategic purchasing decisions. Responsible for activities like costing, project management, organizing, leading people, and 'physics of cost' for effective sourcing. Decisions and supplier performance monitoring with good quality, best possible costs, lead-times, MOQ and purchase terms. Continually and systematically reduce material costs and inventory levels. Identify, qualify and transition low cost region suppliers for both in Asia and Globally. Apply lean supply chain practices with the internal supply chain with key suppliers. Partner with purchasing teams throughout to indentify and transition parts and commodities to low cost region suppliers. Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance; escalate issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective action when improvement is required. Work across the organization to ensure solid inventory management strategies and tools are applied to meet company objectives for material and customer service levels. Ensure cost effective and efficient logistics between Asia and North America/Europe. Reporting directly to the top managements.

    Strategic Management: Conceptualising and implementing long term strategic business plans in tune with market trend, competitive scenario, macro business opportunities in order to achieve the desired objectives from time to time. Conducting Business Analysis, Exploring potential business avenues and managing operations for achieving increased business growth. Analysing latest business trends and tracking competitors activities and providing valuable inputs for fine tuning of the strategies. Effectively developing and communicating objectives in tune with corporate policies. Managing given profit centre by optimising man, machine and material resources and ensuring top and bottom line profitability.

    Operation Management: Overseeing, Supporting and controlling all activities directly related to making and distribution of products or providing services. Designing and implementing systems, process and procedures of facilities, making recommendations and implementing changes. Focussing on optimisation of parameters and initiating process improvements for achieving objectives and productivity targets. Reviewing existing processes and re-designing the same for enhancing operational efficiency and achieving maximum cost savings. Supporting the purchase functions at a strategic level to help achieve objectives required to aid production of existing and new product development. Fully conversant with modern procurement and purchasing techniques and supporting all members of the purchasing and operation tem.     Brand Management: Brand custodian responsible for brand strategy, vision, brand positioning, brand architecture, visibility and overall deliverable that support the brand promise. Engaging, Inspiring and galvanizing the organization around the brand vision developing plans, Conducting periodical, reviews of the brand, category, competition and consumer trends to enhance the brands equity and marketplace performance. Talking lead in creating engaging brand experience by using consumer and marketplace data and trends. Creating the annual Media/Advertisement/Brand Communication Plan including recommended touch point plan. Analysing consumer trends and information to help identify product categories to enter as future sources of growth. Hands on experience in new product launches and digital marketing strategy, Retail and Customer Relationship Management. Working in collaboration with channel and trade partners to generate incremental sales and profitability. HR Management: Act as the face of HR for the company and responsible for all people based activity within the organization from both operational and strategic perspective. Develops and implements annual agenda
