Key Project Details: Aim of the project- To study effect of Endosulphan on Swiss Albino Mice Ovary. Methodology- Selection of animals and handling, dosage administration, dissection, histology and study of side-effects of pesticides on mammals. Endosulphan was administered orally to normal hemicastrated virgin mice for 15 consecutive days to examine the effects on ovarian function and it was compared with sham-operated hemicastrated mice, administrated with olive oil. Result- The mice were sacrificed on 16 th day. The hemicastrated control mice administrated with olive oil had a 40.5% increase in weight, no effect on estrous cycle, had a significant increase in health & atretic follicles whereas endosulphan treated mice show a significant decrease in compensatory ovarian hypertrophy with 37.2% increase in weight & disruption of estrous cycle. Aim of the project- Antioxidant and antimicrobial activity studies of Aconitum heterophyllum.

CAREER OBJECTIVE:To obtain such responsibilities and roles that will enable me to use and improve my skills and capabilities with high performance standard while striving towards achieving organizational mission and core values.

PROFILE SUMMARY:

worked at Stemcyte Therapeutics Pvt Ltd, USA MNC joint venture between Apollo hospitals & Candila Pharmaceutical from May 2016 to 26 September 2016.

6 months training completed under Biotech Consortium India Limited, New Delhi (Biotech Industrial Training Program 2015-16).

M.Sc. in Biotechnology

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Harshita Biotech Private Limited, Hyderabad, IndiaDesignation: Trainee Period: October 2015 – April 2016

Title of the Report: Comparison of establishment of Protocol for shooting of Punica granatum ʻBhagava’ variety by nodal explants vs cotyledon explants.

Key Project Details:

Aim of the project- To study effect of Endosulphan on Swiss Albino Mice Ovary.

Result- The mice were sacrificed on 16th day.

Methodology- Study of presence of various phytochemical compounds in Aconitum heterophyllum plant extracts, its anti-oxidant activity and extraction and estimation of various bioactive compounds using TLC technique. To study the anti-microbial activity of the extracts of aerial parts of the plant sample of Aconitum heterophyllum against different bacterial and fungal strains. To determine the minimum concentration (MIC) and minimum bacterial concentration (MBC) of Methanolic extract of Aconitum heterophyllum.

Experimental skills:Plant tissue culture techniques-Seed culture,Embryo culture,Somatic embryogenesis,Micropropagation,Phytochemical Test,Paper chromatography & TLCIsolation of Genomic DNA of eukaryotes and prokaryotes.Agarose and Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
