Role & Responsibilities:
Metro underground station work
Construction Supervision of Diaphragm Wall, Strutting and Excavation Works.
Ensuring safe working of all construction activities, machinery and workers working at site.
Timely completion of assigned works as per project schedules with Quality and Safety.
NCRs to contractors for non-compliance of project quality standards. Daily, weekly and monthly reports on progress and resources,
assistance to Management in official correspondence. Visiting of labs and plants for material checking and quality
compliance. Monitoring of Geotechnical instrumentation, utility diversion works,
traffic diversion, Review of contractors planned schedules, work programmes and
suggesting modifications.
Review of project documents such as Method statements, ITPs, progress documents, FCRs, DDSQs and feedback from site to management.
- Carry out regular site inspections and review, monitor contractor’s shop drawings, materials, method statements and progress on site and working closely with Construction Superintendent /Manager.
- Monitoring civil, structural work on site and monitoring the contractor compliance with the approved safety policy and regulations.
- Responding to queries from Contractors and assisting in preparation of monthly progress reports.
- Raise Non Conformance Reports (NCR) and Discrepancy Report (DR), when activities deviate from the Contract Specifications or normal Construction industry practices. Maintain daily reports of site activities and resources Requirements.
- Monitoring and reporting on contractor baseline as well as the 3 months rolling programme.
- Reviewing of method statements, material approval and construction procedure etc.

LAB TESTING WORK:
1 Cement: - consistency, Initial and final setting Soundness Fineness of cement. Making motor and moulds and finding the compressive strength for type of grades (33,43,53)
2 Aggregate: - Gradation, Impact value, Flakiness & Elongation Index, Los Angeles Abrasion Value, water absorption, Specific gravity, Bulk Density, TFV aggregate, crushing Value, Silt content etc.
3 Concrete: - Includes Slump tests, testing the concrete cubes for compressive strength, Concrete Beams for Flexural Strength with compaction factor.
4 Concrete Mix Designs: - Responsible for mix designs of concrete M-15, M-20 for PCC, Kerb, M-25, M-30, M-35, M-40, M-45 for grades for RCC, , Shot Creating, Grouting, Conbextra grouting, GP2and selecting of admixtures for suitable concretes, etc.,
