OBJECTIVE
“ To implement good and affordable healthcare”
4
ABSTRACT Wireless Body Area Network. Develop the sensor that reads physiological
data. Physiological data accessed through ZigBee. Analyse the data received from the sensor
nodes to server receiver.

6
INTRODUCTION
WHAT IS BAN?
WBAN
New enabling technology for health monitoring.
Communication between human and computer through wearable devices
7
# Implement wban for monitoring physiological data.
# Use e- health sensor.
# ZigBee.
# Real time application system.
8
WEARABLE DEVICES
9
RELATED WORKS
× multi-hop topology network for WBAN.
× noninvasive thermometers.
× sensor circuit for detecting oxygen saturation.

12
SERVER
BCU
BSU
WBAN UNITS
13
BODY SENSOR UNIT(BSU) Intelligent node for sensing. Consists of
Arduino E-health sensor board Arduino xbee shield Zigbee Temperature sensor Pulse oximeter sensor
14
15
16
Temperature sensor
temperature sensor with its output proportional to the temperature (in oC).
17
pulse oximetry is a technology used to measure the oxygen level in your blood and your heart rate.
Pulseoximeter sensor
BODY CONTROL UNIT (BCU)
Control and monitor operation of WBAN nodes
Collection of sensor readings from physiological sensors
Processing and integration of data Secure communication
consist of arduino,
arduino Xbee shield,
ZigBee.
18
SERVER MONITOR
receives the information from BCU.
Can be connected to internet.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE OF WBAN
20
• BSU will reads the data.• Information transmit to BCU using
ZigBee.• Data will stored in the pc –database
(MySQL).• Results can be viewed via desktop based
application.• sender- receiver distance change and
evaluate.
Process flow:-

installation of temperature sensor and pulseoximeter sensor to e-health sensor board and paired to arduino uno as micro controller
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS HARDWARE Compaq Presario CQ40. CPU:2:40GHz (Dual Core). Memory :2048MB RAM. Arduino. E-health sensor.
SOFTWARE Windows 8 Professional 64bit. Visual Studio Premium 2012 Arduino IDE
23
VISUALIZATION DESIGN
store user data.check connection to database.view results in DB record. Perform serial monitoring readings.
Features of application include:-
24
25Desktop based visualization design
