Please find enclosed herewith a copy of DPG letter No.DPG/F/ZO12/Status dated 10.01.2013 addressed to the Hon'ble Secretary ,Ministry of Labour, New Delhi & copy. endorsed to your office as well as this office on the above subject.

As per instructions of the Hon'ble Cabinet Secretary, DPG every single petitions forwarded by DPG should be redressed within a maximum period of six weeks.

You are therefore requested kind special attentation and get these pending cases examined on top priority basis. It is requested to settle the all pending cases as on 10.01.2013 and send a report to the Hon'ble Dy. Secretary, DPG & this office by 30 fh January 2013 for onward transmission to the Hon'ble Secretary Ministry of Labour New Delhi.

Sir, I am directed to forward herewith a list received from Directorate of Public

Grievances (DPG), Cabinet Secretariat showing pending cases pertaining to your organization as on 10.1.2013.

As you are aware, as per instructions of the Cabinet Secretary, every single petition forwarded by DPG should be dealt within a maximum period of 6 weeks and no case should,under anv circumstances be allowed to remain pending for more than 3 months. It is also imperative that a public grievance needs to be examined in a fair and judicious manner with speaking reply, recording reasons to conclude the matter.

You are, therefore, requested to give special attention and get these long pending case examined on top priority basis as some of the cases are pendinn for more than two years. After examination an appropriate reply may please be sent to the petitioner urgently. ' A report on the decision taken covering all aspects of the grievance(s) with detailed reasons fcr such decision may please also be sent to DPG and this Ministry at the earliest.
