Competitive dialogue bidding process with a peak team size of over 140 persons. Bid value +/- € 350 million npv. Achieved selection through to the finals, albeit no contract award in the end.

MARCH 2005 SEPTEMBER 2006 DELTA NV and DELTA ENERGY BV

Project Director and Advisor to the Board for this Dutch Energy Producer and full service Company. Realised a consultancy agreement for various strategic advisory work. Achieved as director a financial closing a € 160 million project highly leveraged financing (biomass plant in Moerdijk fuelled by chicken-litter). Through careful teamwork managed finalisation of an in-house companywide report for the introduction of smart-metering.

MARCH 2003 FEBRUARY 2005 DE MEERLANDEN HOLDING BV

Managed the daily operations in this waste management company formed by the various communities around Amsterdam. Some 300 fte with € 60 million turnover. Introduced a new ERP-system for waste management and administration. Advisor to the Board during merger negotiations with another city’s waste company.

SEPTEMBER 2002 MARCH 2004 HOOGHEEMRAADSCHAP VAN DELFLAND

As Contract Manager and a Director for the waste water section of one of the larger Waterboards in The Netherlands achieved the formation and set-up of this separate unit (125 fte) in the organisation. Managed and succeeded to close-out in time the first

PPP-Contract in the Dutch water sector (npv of 420 million euro and a thirty year contract duration). DBFOM type of contract with a number of novelties for its financing. Budget responsible for completion of pipelines and pumping stations (300 million euro budget). This is Europe’s largest sewage treatment complex with over 2 million pe capacity. Complex environmental permitting, high media and sector attention, but today still a show-case in Dutch PPP-contracting.
