TOPIC : POLYGONS
POLYGONSA closed figure having three or more sides are generally called as
polygons. The basic geometrical notion of a polygon has been adapted in various ways to suit particular purposes. Mathematicians are often concerned only with the bounding closed polygonal chain and with simple polygon which do not self-intersect, and they often define a polygon accordingly
Examples of Polygons
Regular Polygons
A polygon with equal sides and equal angles are called a regular polygon. Regular polygons may be convex or star. In the limit, a sequence of regular polygons with an increasing number of sides becomes a circle.
SquareA quadrilateral with equal sides and
equal angles are called as square

Regular PentagonA pentagon with equal sides and equal
angles are called regular pentagon
Regular hexagonA hexagon with equal sides and equal
angles are called regular hexagon
