TOPIC : POLYGONS

POLYGONSA closed figure having three or more sides are generally called as

polygons. The basic geometrical notion of a polygon has been adapted in various ways to suit particular purposes. Mathematicians are often concerned only with the bounding closed polygonal chain and with simple polygon which do not self-intersect, and they often define a polygon accordingly

Regular Polygons

A polygon with equal sides and equal angles are called a regular polygon. Regular polygons may be convex or star. In the limit, a sequence of regular polygons with an increasing number of sides becomes a circle.
