JANMA BHOOMI ……..meansThe Government has launched a people

centered development and welfare programme “Janmabhoomi - Maa Vooru” in the month of October,2014 and initiated to conduct 1st round Janmabhoomi from 2nd October,2014 to 20th October,2014on the thrust areas viz., Pensions, Health Camps, Veterinary camps, sensitizing peoples through 5 Campaigns, Grievance and preparation and collection of data through Micro Plan.

During the 2nd round of Janma Bhoomi which was conducted from 3rd June, 2015 to 7th June, 2015 the focused areas are Distribution of Rations through PDS for the month of June, Sensitization on Primary, Social Empowerment, Knowledge/ Skill Development and Urban Mission, Grievance Receiving the petitions, registering, Action Taken Report on Micro Plans developed as well as grievances received during the first round of JBMV, Health Camps- Primary health Check up and Referral, Veterinary Camps Health Check up, Vaccination and Referral, Sensitization and mobilization for the 5 Campaigns taken up by GoAP.

3RD ROUND OF JANMA BHOOMI:

3rd Round of Janma Bhoomi will be conducted from 2nd to 11th January, 2016 with the main theme of Smart Village – Smart Ward Towards Smart Andhra Pradesh

high standard of living. The 100 per cent achievement of the 20 basic amenities, outcomes and services in a definite time frame, is a non-negotiable condition for moving towards Smart Village-Smart Ward.  These 20 non-negotiables are categorized as follows:

The development process of the state has witnessed implementation of several schemes/programmes aimed at improving infrastructure and the welfare of people.

Mission….Implementations Primary Sector Mission,Social Empowerment Mission,Knowledge and Skill Development

Mission,Urban Development Mission,Industry Sector Mission,Infrastructure Mission andService Sector Mission.

Knowledge and Skill Development Mission –providing quality service to a consumer and

enhance his experience for services availed through the lifecycle

ensuring employability of graduating students from educational and vocational institutions

reorganizing the employment exchanges as the career development centers

identifying the industry needs and establishing commensurate vocational centers to meet the identified requirements through strengthened industry collaboration,

initiating the capacity building and skill development for the already employed persons to improve the quality of services

Mission would focus on……Establishing 3 mega cities and 10 smart

cities; Develop a roadmap for sustainable urban development by improving transportation, housing, expanding opportunities and living standards; Financial resource mobilization strategies for sustainable urban development; Solid waste management and treatment of wastewater;

Kuchipudi dance to be made optional in the model agenda already  communicated.2.  Representation of Hon’ble Ministers, MPs, MLAs and Janmabhoomi Committee is advised on the dias. One or two beneficiaries of ration cards, pensions, Housing etc., may be allowed to speak for one or two minutes during the Gramsabha.3.  All the village level functionaries along with the JB committee should invariably participate in the Gramsabha without any exemption.

ADDITIONAL 3rd ROUND JANMABHOOMI MAA VOORU GUIDELINESFOR IMMEDIATE COMPLIANCE

4.   Issues/problems of non availability of photos during distribution of ration cards may be sorted out immediately by the Civil Supplies department.

5.   Drinking water problems in the villages to be redressed immediately. Drilling of bore wells wherever required to be taken up immediately.

6.   Payment issues regarding construction of toilets may be sorted out by the Panchayat Raj department.

7.   Focus on implementation of Government schemes on saturation mode may be emphasized.

8.  Best practices and success stories should be shared  during Gramsabha.

MAA VOORU GUIDELINESFOR IMMEDIATE COMPLIANCE

9.  All the Principal Secretaries and Heads of the Departments to take immediate action on any grievance related issues pertaining to their department and District administration to sort out any district level issues.

10. Ground water level of 3 meters to be maintained. Water levels should be displayed prominently in the Gramsabha. Real time monitoring of water levels to be done regularly.
