PBA Swami-----A Thenkalai Refutation of Vadakalai position on the co-divine status of Sri/Lakshmi/TheDivineMothe and co-equal role in salvation. Thenkalais hold that Sri/Lakshmi, also known as Piratti in the Tamil Texts, is a finite soul, Jivatma, just like us except that she is much more superior and powerful. But still finite. And her role in salvation is therefore subordinate to that of Infinite Vishnu/Narayana. Vadakalais hold that both of them are equal in all respects and that both are infinite. This critique, written in Tamil and heavily laced with Grantham language, is from the great Thenkalai exponent, Sri PBA Swami.
