Prof Rakesh Katarey Dean of Dayananda Sagar college of

Journalism and Mass communication interacted with children

from Lower income groups at Abhyudaya free coaching

center. 200 students were present. Dayananda Sagar

Institutions is a a premiers institution , it has produced top

journalist, movie directors and top executives in several

media houses like Zee Kannada COLORS TV and many

more. We at Abhyudaya regularly conduct such career

guidance and interaction programs to socially economically

deprived children to guide them to reach a good position in

the lives and thus transform their standard of living.

A very inspiring and informative session Prof Rakesh Katare

a man with more than 25 years rich experience in the field of

media, communication and journalism. Currently several top

directors, journalist and entertainment executives are his

students . Abhyudaya students are lucky to get an opportunity

to interact with such eminent person in the society.

Armed forces flag day was observed on Dec 7 60 girls 40

boys wore the flag with pride. Some day there will be

someone from Abhyudaya serving in Armed forces

Shri Bhaskar Rao IPS , ADGP KSRP, interacted with children taking free special class for SSLC exam. had an opportunity to listen to the eminent speaker. He told that people can steal anything except education. Shri Bhaskar Rao stressed girls to study hard in spite of hardship they face. Children were asked to utilise the valuable time and support given to them by volunteers of Abhyudaya. He asked students to help the society when the grow up. Dream big before you sleep and when you wake up in the morning have a plan to achieve big and to work hard. One may be born poor but should not die poor. Each of them should strive hard for better life. This needs courage. With Courage you can achieve anything. Courage comes by good interactions. 15 to 21 is an age when students should put maximum effort. It is similar to an aeroplane take-off. During take off a plane does not take rest if it takes it will just collapse. Same way youngsters should not take rest at this age. Focus all your energy now for your SSLC exams. At cursing level you can relax. If you take rest now you will end up borrowing and repenting. You will face lot of problems, don’t blame god later.

Aarohana took place on 23rd Dec at Ramakrishna Samagraha shishana kendra Gottigere. Around 2000 children participated. The program had various competitions like singing, Skit, essay, drawing, science experiment and models, quiz. 250 prizes were given by Noted industrialist Shri Sadananda, Shri Kailash Poddar, Shri Shivkumar and Shri Manjunath. Theme of essay was water conservation, pollution control, traffic rules for primary school and water conservation, for high school theme was pollution control, traffic rules , alcohol drug abuse. Theme of drawing competition was nature, farming, culture and solar system for primary school and high school students. Theme of drama was Water conservation, Pollution control, Traffic rules and Awareness. Theme of model was to make Musical Instruments for primary school, model related to Astronomy for high school. Quiz was conducted by Shir Kuldeep Somaiiyaji.

Bengaluru. Coincidentally Abhyudaya has six free

learning centers located in weavers colony of

Bangalore, where 150 economically weaker section

children from weavers community are studying.

Sri François Gautier Consul General of France was the Chief

Guest at Abhyudaya Bengaluru Valedictory function of Free

classes for deprived children.The consul general appreciated

Abhyudaya for giving back to the society. He mentioned that

education is the key, his job today is because of his education his

parents and teachers have given him and he is grateful to them.

He mentioned that the future of the children is the future of the

nation and that affects the future of the whole world.

On Feb 16 3600 Children across 83 free learning center

paid respect to remember the sacrifise of 40 soldiers of

CRPF who sacrifised their lives due Phulwama terror

attack. Story of brave CRPF Jawans were narrated.

program daily for college students . These programs cost
