Department of Textile Technology

Textile Department celebrates its 19th

Anniversary this year. It

offers B.Tech (Textile Technology) since 1995, and M.Tech since 2003.

B.Tech Program is accredited by National Board of Accreditation of

AICTE. The Department is expected to be recognized as Centre for

Research (for Ph.D) by Anna University shortly. Department has

qualified and experienced faculty members (2 faculty members –

Recognized guides for PhD in Anna University Chennai; 6 faculty

members are pursuing PhD). Over the years, it has accumulated a strong

alumni base both within India as well as abroad.

About the Conference

Call for Papers

Papers are invited for oral presentation during the conference.

Authors are requested to submit their original research work or critical

reviews for presentation and publication in various fields of textiles. An

abstract not exceeding 300 words typed in Time New Roman with 1.5

Spacing and 12 Font Size, shall be sent to the organizing Secretary on or

before 23rd

September 2014. Notification of the acceptance of the

abstract will be informed only by mail by 25th

September 2014. The

selected presenters are requested to send the full paper in MS Word 2003

using Time New Roman with single spaced and 12 Font Size, not

exceeding 5 pages (A4 Size) in soft copy along with the registration fees

on or before 4th

October 2014.
