•Two Ekadasis occur in one month.

• The progression of the moon.

• Each arc measures one lunar day, called "tithi "

•Anhydrous fast is the most preferred way to fast on Ekadasi

• Or one can have only fruits and vegetables, but no grains.

How do we Observe Ekadasi?

•You can eat fruits and drink water •You cannot eat grains on Ekadasi

Why This and Not That?

•Break the fast on Dvadasi morning

•Take some offered grains (prasadam)

•You can also offer the Ekadasi Result
