Here is a heartrending devaranama which shows the extent of Sri Pranesha dasru vairagya or

detached attachment to all things related to the body and world. This song is completely written

in uttara Karnataka slang(raichur,lingasuru slang..)

Dasaru is asking we have time in kitta tuledu,hetta besuvaro ie, we have time for grinding the

flour and even we have time for all our personally duties but we are not interesting in grinding

the one of samagre ie Rangoli (things used for pooja)…

In next line dasaru even asks..salu salemme toevaro,we have time to wash buffalos standing line

by line..And we not even have a time to do pooja of saligrama where the sannedhane the lord is

always present…

For begaru ootakke we have many taste full food but for Brahman rege we will serve the Jolada

ogada(the food made up of Jola,this we get once we repeatedly grind the jogla,at last we keep

this for cows or any animals to eat)

Coming to next line the Tuppa,ghee what we serve Gammane nice flavor for our relatives and

friends but for kammatu(ghee which we have kept for many a days we will feel some bad odor,

that is what is called Kammatu)this we will serve to brahamanrege..

Whatever the Lord given we are not doing any samaparne to him ,lastly we are asking yeah Lord

give me all sukha but I don’t want any Dhookha.. All mischief’s we are doing but lastly we are

blaming sri pranesh vithala…
