[1 edit ] FamilyBorn as K arthika Menon in K erala Nair family, Bhavana is the daughter of Pushpa and assistantcinematographer G. Balachandran Menon. She has one brother named Jayaddev who is currentlyliving in Vancouver , Canada .[2] .[3]

She debuted in Malayalam film Nammal opposite newcomers like Siddharth , Jishnu and RenukaMenon . The film was a big success and she got several offers in Malayalam . She won manyhonours and K erala State Special Jury A ward for the same film. Bhavana was a 11th classstudent when she got her break in films. [4 ] She has acted with almost all actors of tamil includingMohanlal , Mammootty , Suresh Gopi , Jayaram and Dileep . Her first released Tamil filmChithiram Pesuthadi with Malayali A ctor Narain was a great success and after this successfulmovie she has got many offers in Tamil and currently doing many projects with famous Tamilactors like Madhavan , Jayam Ravi , Bharath and Srikanth .[5 ]
