ROLES (SPORTS, MEDICS, AND RANGERS)
▪ Teaching Nutrition and Health Related concepts to approx 130-150 children: for example:▪ My Plate▪ Food Labels▪ Portion Sizes▪ Healthy concepts for boys and girls (hormonal, muscle building, skin, hair, nails, etc)▪ Food Demos▪ Nutrition games (food choice musical chairs, name that nutrient)▪ Developing a first-aid kit▪ Blood draws, checking vitals, body measurements.
▪ Each lesson was repeated at least 3 times each day
▪ Pre-post testing and data collection
▪ Preparation of food sample bags, lesson plans, and lectures.
