    (Rishis requested Maha Muni Suta to elucidate the context as to how Bhagavan Vishnu secured

    Sudarshana Chakra from Maha Deva. Suta Muni narrated that once there were fierce and rolonged

    !attles !etween Deva" Danavas and Devas were !adl# hurt and humiliated. $he# aroached Maha

    Vishnu for safet# and suort.$he# ra#ed to %anardana& Vishnu and %ishnu atheticall# and !egged

    of him to rovide succor and return to them their lost glories. $he# exressed their anguish that

    Dait#a"Danavas o!tained innumera!le !oons !# erforming deserate $aas#as and !ecame

    invinci!le to such an extent even the Chakra generated from Sur#a Mandala roved ineffective and

    the Va'raa#udha secured !# Maharshi Dadhichis !ack!one had failed. Devas further su!mitted to

    Vishnu that onl# the )ncredi!le and indestructi!le Chariot and the accoman#ing weaonr# that MahaDeva created to exterminate %alandhara Dait#a could save them* this was announced !# none less than

    Brahma Deva himself. Brahma also confirmed that onl# Vishnu Bhagavan could ossi!l# secure this

    +Ratha from Maha Deva,.

    (Vishnu Bhagavan relied that the Chariot and its accessories which Maha Deva created to kill

    %alandhara would indeed hel uroot the remaining Danavas too. Suta Muni then descri!ed that

    su!sequentl# a Shiva -inga was consecrated ato imala#a /eak and Vishwakarma constructed the

    Sacred /lace quickl#. $he Shiva -inga so sanctified was !athed and worshied !# Vishnu Bhagavan!# reciting one thousand names of Maha Deva as each name of the latter was recited& Vishnu laced a
