Project DescriptionAirtel Afirca currently operates telecommunication entities in 16 African markets through holding entities with varied percentages of ownership. Hyperion v 6.4.1 is available and used for financial consolidation,and this will be migrated to v6.5. Enterprise performance management is controlled and reported through varied Excel workbooks.Hyperion v11 has been select as the Enterprise Management System to be deployed and used at all operational companies.

Responsibilities

Responsible for interacting with Business users to understand business requirement and build/maintain application as per business documentation and providing solutions in time.

Based on functional people requirement organizing account members, custom members, entity members and defining respective currencies and their attributes, Dimension members and their parameters as per specification.

Creating Data forms and Data Grids to know financial status of the Organization like balance sheet and profit loss accounts by using form and Grid settings.

Hands on Experience on Sync UAT and DEV environments with PROD by using Life Cycle Management (LCM) if any enhancement/Modification developed before move into production.

The team was spread in India to be able to give 24x7 supports.

Project Description

Airtel operates their telecommunications from Zambia as one of the 17 Africa countries is now rebasing their currency due to inflation over a long period.The business requirement for re-configuration of Zambia Entity in Hyperion Financial Management application and Hyperion Financial Reporting tool due to currency rebasing. Changes to existing entity and reports will be reviewed on case by case basis and this may include a new entity creation Responsibilities

• Prepared document by taking inputs from business on several discussions • Created the new currency in HFM application for Zambia entities as a rebased currency. • Designing and supplying Financial /Ad-hoc reports as per client request by means of Hyperion Financial reporting (FR) studio and Smart view.• Reports from HFM are retrieved in new currency from Jan’13.

Title : Hyperion and BI Migration. Client : Airtel - IBM Role : Hyperion Consultant.

Environment : Hyperion Financial Management 11.1.2.1, FDQM 11.1.2.1, HEM 6.5.1, Hyperion shared services 11.1.2.1, Hyperion Financial Reports 11.1.2.1.

Project Description The Hyperion and BI servers are located at Amsterdam and they wanted to bring those servers to their Data center in Pune, India.

Responsibilities:

• Created the application for HEM, and restored the backup from Amsterdam and also involved in the configuration of Hyperion Retrieve to retrieve the reports. • Created HFM application and restored the artifacts using LCM.



• Restored the data backup through HFM Client. • Created, Configured and restored the data backup of FDM application. • Restored the backup of all the financial reports using LCM.
