EDUCATION:
Master of Engineering, Mechanical (CGPA: 3.85/4.3 (90%)) June 2016
Concordia University, Montreal, Canada
Bachelor of Engineering, Automobile (CGPA: 7.5/10) June 2014
Manipal University, Manipal, India
CAREER-RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Internship Jan 2014 – June 2014
Tata Motors, Ahmedabad, India
Worked in the Lean Manufacturing Department as a Production Engineer Intern under the supervision
of Plant Head of Weld Shop.
Managed a team of over 30 Operators and Supervisors working in the Weld Shop.
Worked on the different Semi Automated Robotic lines with the operators (for first 2 months) to have
a better understanding of the process and problems initiating the manufacturing delay.
Prepared and studied POCS (Process Observation Check Sheet), SWCT (Standardized Work
Instruction Combination Table) and SWC (Standardized work chart) that helped to determine problems
causing the manufacturing delays.
Modified & Standardized the process by making new WIS (Work Instructions Sheet) for every station.
Designed a new Tool belt for the operators to ensure that all the necessary tools are always on them.
Helped operators to adapt new process and collected their feedback.
Reduced the overall manufacturing time of the entire weld shop by 3 minutes per hour.
Credited as the Best Project in the plant and was offered full-time job at the end of the Internship.

Teaching Assistant Sept 2015 – May 2016
Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec
Teaching Assistant for the course of Mathematics (Applied Ordinary Differential Equations) &
Thermodynamics.
Evaluated 70 weekly assignments, 2-4 Quizzes per semester, mid-terms and final exams.
Adhered strict deadlines to updated grade sheets with the results regularly and sent a copy of the list at
every two weeks to the instructor.
Met students one to one on daily basis to clear their doubts and explain assignment corrections.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR PROJECTS:
Team Member (Engine Sub-Team) May 2015 – May 2016
Formula SAE (Concordia University)

Resonator.
Reduced sound level of Honda CBR engine to 110dbC as required by Formula SAE rules.
Compared theoretical and actual results by manufacturing and testing variable length Resonator.
Helped other team members with their designs and problems.
Assembled and disassembled various components to prepare car for testing and social events.
Team Lead (Engine Sub-Team) May 2011 – December 2013
Formula SAE (Manipal University)
Designed (CATIA V5) and analyzed (CFD Analysis on Ricardo WAVE & Solidworks) of the Air
Intake System (3D Printed) of Honda CBR Engine, which also involved designing and testing of the
Fuel System as the Head of the Engine Team.
Conducted real time performance mapping of the Honda CBR Engine using Hub-type Dynamometer.
Managed a team of 12 and helped them with their designs and manufacturing process.
Overlooked other Engine’s designs & collaborated with other subsystems of the car during the testing.
Managed all the engine related finances, cost reports and safety measures as required by SAE rulebook.
