MCA21 Project (Transition & Program Management): Ministry of Corporate Affairs if the first Ministry in GoI which is 100% paperless and has also underwent transition from one service provider to other service provider. As a management consultant, Abhishek was involved in the RFP stage initially and later transitioning and monitoring of services. Transitioning from TCS(earlier service provider) to current service provider(Infosys) and was one the major milestones. Thereafter Roll out of SAP application and implementation of new SLA Methodology was one of the biggest challenges in the project.

Core Scope Document : The objective of this document was to define the scope for IT Intervention in Health MMP
Assessment Report : As a part of this report we were supposed to do primary field research by visiting 6 states ( shortlisted on parameters defined by MoHFW of High Focus, Advanced and moderate) for 3-4 days and for others states secondary research was to be carried out on the IT readiness and IT maturity of the states for Health MMP.
Concept Note Document: This document was prepared to list the basic concept behind the entire exercise of scoping.

Ministry of Art Culture and Language ( GNCDT): The Department is in possession of rich and unique collections of original records, maps and microfilms relating to events, which took place in 1785 onwards in India. The project envisage digitization microfilming of records and making the digital content available to all citizens. The key deliverables of the project were :-
AS IS Report: Best Practices Report : This involved carrying out field study of top-5 Archives in India where
digitsation and microfilming has been undertaken. Detailed Project Report followed by EFC Note and RFP

Some of the major Non E-Governance Projects:-
Norwich Union-UK (Process Consultant): Norwich Union intended to implement a unique product “pay as you Go- Car Insurance”. Abhishek was involved in the pilot stage of the project and key activities involved were :-
Studying the processes in-place and gaps which need to be addressed to ensure successful implementation of the project.
The study involved interviewing the organization chart and mapping the roles and processes accordingly.
The outcome of the study was to setup an ODC in Pune for level-1 support and define the processes and road map required for the Go Live of project. The tangible improvement was in terms of reduction on operations expenses, reduced turn-around time for customer grievance redressal, revamping of role and responsibilities.

NHS – UK (Migration Consultant): As a Data Migration Consultant, Abhishek was involved as Data Migration lead in the roll out of billion dollar IT modernisation of NHS-UK. Key activities were
Liaising with stake holders in the project and providing technical consultancy. Interacting with the Trust (NHS) and analysing the problems they might face when they migrate
from legacy system to new Millennium application. Conducting check point meetings with all the stake holders & also carrying out the impact analysis of
data quality on the functionality of the system. Working on Data Migration tools like Pre Load Verification Tool (PLV), PLCV Tool which were
developed & maintained in house by us (TCS resources) and carrying out other technical work like writing scripts in Unix, PL/SQL etc which help in analysing the data quality.
As a Data Migration Consultant the ultimate goal is to deliver the quality of data that system requires as input for successful IT implementation.
Carrying out the final Data Migration activity as a cut over exercise from legacy to new Millennium application.
The tangible outcome was Go Live of the application within the specified time frame. Reduction in time taken a) to book appointment with doctor, b) waiting time for availability of surgical appointments. Improved utilization of resources i.e. doctor to patients, medical equipment’s usage et al, better resource management, forecasting and analytical mechanisms.
Scottish Water : As a Program/Implementation Manager for Scottish Water (UK) customer for one there mission mode projects CISP. The project involved developing& implementing an IT Solution (CISP) which would act as a single version of truth, integrate all the information in one database, and make all stand alone applications redundant ( in Scottish Water there were 119 IT applications) thereby simplifying the IT Landscape of the customer. Key numbers related to project are : Project Duration: 1.5 Yrs, Team Size : 35 FTE, Business Size : 2 Million GBP. Key activities were :-
Delivery & Quality Management: Managing the end to end process from multi site offshore – onsite development model , to operating within the strict operational model i.e. recruiting local UK team certified by MOD (Ministry of Defense – UK) to work on production data, engaging with multiple vendors like Fujitsu, Oracle et al , ensure that quality processes are adhered
Implementation Management: As an implementation manager I need to manage the implementation within the SLA/OLA framework of all the stake holders.
The tangible outcome was reduction in the O&M cost of IT applications, improved contract management, reduction in time taken to implement new water pipeline projects et al.
Areva-France (Transition and Program Manager): As a Program Manager for AREVA (France) project, Abhishek was responsible for setting up the ODC for the customer & start the engagement in offshore model. Areva was doing outsourcing for the first time & Abhishek as Program Manager was responsible to

ensure that Areva’s experience with outsourcing is successful. Project vital stats: Team Size : 45 FTE, Business Volume : 3 Million Euro/Year. Key activities were :-
Delivery Management: This involves Incident Management and reporting of Incidents w.r.t SLA’s. Quality Management Interacting with Quality Assurance Group in monthly & quarterly audits. As a
part of process compliance I am also responsible that all the quality procedures are strictly followed like BSC (Balances Score Card), PMR Audit, Security Audit, Scatter Chart, BCP, UPP, SDLC Process etc.
Risk Management: Conducting check point meetings with all the stake holders every week to assess the progress of work and also to study the future development work that are in pipeline
Contract/Commercial Management: The Financial activities like costing, budgeting, WON Management etc comes under scope of Program Manager.
