Walkthrough – typing Gujarati anywhere in your computer

• “googlegujaratiinputsetup.exe” ને ડફ ક્લક કરો, અને આગલ OK- OK દફાળીને ઇન્સ્ટો કરી નાખો Double-click the file “googlegujaratiinputsetup.exe” you got and press OK at all steps to install it.

• જો ના ંમાળલયુ ંતો ઐયા થી ડાઉનોડ (download) કરો • https://www.dropbox.com/s/a20slv82ew47bqo/googlegujaratiinputsetup.zip

• If you don’t have the file, download it from this link

• જો વળન્સડોસ ૭ કાતો ળી્તા હોય તો ફસ તમારંુ કામ થઇ ગયુ ં| ણ વળન્સડોવ્સ XP ળારતા હોય તો આગલ ળાચો, હજી થોડુ ંકરવુ ંડે

• If you are using Windows 7 or Vista, then it’s

done. But if you have Windows XP, then read the next steps, there is a little more work to do.

• કમ્્યટુર ને રી્ટાટટ કરો • Restart the computer.

• Start નુ ંફટન ક્લક કરીને કન્સરો ાને (Control Panel) મા ંજાઓ

• Go to Control Panel from the Start Menu

• "Regional and Language options" ર ડફ ક્લક કરો• Open "Regional and Language options"

• ઉર 'Languages' ર ક્લક કરો

• Click on the second, 'Languages' Tab at the top.

• "Install files for complex script...“ ની ફાજુમા ંટીક માકટ કરો, છી જે સળા આળે એને OK કરો. ાછુ OK કરો

• Check ON the option of "Install files for complex script...", click OK at the popup that comes, then click OK again.

• હળે ઈ સી.ડી માટે માગંે . OK ડાફો, છી બ્રાઉઝ (Browse) દાફીને ત્યા ંજાઓ જ્યા ંઆ ેખ ની જોડે તમને “વળન્સડોસ પાઈલ્સ” (windows files) નુ ંપોલ્ડર (folder) માળલયુ.ં

• Now where it says to insert CD, click OK, then click “Browse” and go to the folder “windows files” given with this walkthrough where about 186 windows system files are kept.

• ઈ નો હોય તો ઐયા થી ડાઉનોડ કરો:• ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/q6cu55rs64frxzc/winXP%20install%20indian%20language%20typing.zip )

• જોઈ ગડફડ થઈને ાછુ પછૂયુ ંતો ાછુ ફરાફર પોલ્ડર (folder) ફતાડીને “રીત્રાઈ” (retry) દફાળો.

• If it ever asks again, just make sure the proper folder is there in the folder box, if an extra “i386” gets written then erase it and keep only the proper folder path and click “Retry”.

• થોડી ળાર મા ંથઇ જાઉં જોઈએ અને “language options” ફદં થઇ જવુ ંજોઈએ

• It should install properly and the language options box should close.

• ાછુ કમ્્યટુર રી્ટાટટ કરો, ાછા કન્સરો ાને (Control Panel) મા ંજઈને "Regional and Language options" ર ડફ ક્લક કરો, અને “Languages” મા ંજાઓ

• આ ળલતે ડડટેલ્સ (Details) ર ક્લક કરો

• “એડ” (Add) ડાફો

• ઊરના સપેદ ડબ્ફા મા ં“ઈંગ્ી” (English) ની ફદે “ગજુરાતી” લ્યો

• છી એની નીચેના ડબ્ફા મા ં“ગગૂ ગજુરાતી ઇનપટુ” (google gujarati input) લ્યો.

• OK ડાફો

• હળે આવુ ંદેખાવુ ંજોઈએ • OK ડાફો • રી્ટાટટ કરળા ફોે તો કરો

• Now it should look like this. • Click OK • If it asks to restart, then restart

the computer.

• હળે તમને જમણી ફાજુ નીચે કાતો ઉર “EN” કરીને દેખાઈ જાે

• એને ક્લક કરો તો ગજુરાતી નુ ંGU દેખાે • હળે કોઈ ણ જગ્યાએ ગજુરાતી મા ંખવુ ં

હોય તો EN નુ ંGU કરો અને ખળા માડંો

• જેવુ ંGU કરીએ તો નીચે જમણી ફાજુ આવુ ંદેખાઈ જાે | થયુ ંતો ાબ્ફાસ !!

• In the bottom right of the screen, just above the time, you should see a small rectangular box with a gujarati symbol on it. If it's there, SUCCESS!

• હાો હળે ગજુરાતી મા ંખળા માડંો • ખતા ળખતે આવુ ંદેખાે • તમને “હળે” ખવુ ંહોય તો “have” ાખો અને જોળો, ફરાફર

બ્દ આળીગયો તો ્ેસ ( Space ) કાતો એન્સટર (Enter) દાફો તો ઈ ટાઈ થઇ જાે

• જો ફરાફર બ્દ નો આળીયો તો ઉર – નીચે ના ફટન દફાઓ સહી બ્દ ાળા માટે

• Now go ahead and type in "have". You will see different variations of the gujarati word હળે coming under it. If the proper word is selected, just press Spacebar or Enter and the word is entered in. Go ahead and type as if you're typing Gujarati.

• ક્યાય ણ એટે ક્યાય ણ ! • તમે પાઈો પોલ્ડરો ના નામ ણ ગજુરાતી મા ંખી સકો છો • ળદટ , અન્સય પ્રોગ્રામ અને ઈન્સટરનેટ ના ેજ મા ંણ
