06/05/2011:-

1. Aircel, Kolkata Issue: As per the instruction I along with Manikant & Somenath visit to

Aircel, Kolkata office for taking out the following equipment which was installed there:

LMR 400 Cable - 160 Mtrs.

RG 59 Cable 10 Mtrs.

DC Power Cable- 2 No.

Inline Amplifier- 1 No.

GPS Antenna- 1 No.

We take rest of the element except LMR 400 cable & DC power cable from there.

2. TTSL Kolkata Issue: As per the instruction visit to TTSL,Kolkata for doing NMS Integrity

and done the following things:

First log into the OSA 5581C which was installed there by LM 5581C

software.

Then check the network configuration of it & found that the gateway of it

has been changed & it was 10.112.24.65.

Changed the gateway as per Mumbai TTSL NOC & set to 10.112.24.1 but it

still invisible to TTSL NOC

Then found that the physical connectivity from our equipment to router isnot properly done & told this to TTSL officials.

They told that as the routing is very much older they need some time to

reroute the LAN cable connecting the equipment & Router & told me that they

will make the site ready on Monday.

3. PTP GM Installation( IDEA, Lucknow) issue: As per the schedule send the following

equipment to IDEA, Lucknow which will be needed there to our Engineers:

Inline Amplifier- 1 No.

Rack Screw- 1 Box.

Balloon Converter- 5 No.

DB9 connecter- 5 No

DB9 connecter cover- 5 No

Dear Sir,

Please receive the work report of myself as follows:

1. Rental Quote issue of Wipro:

Go through the trail of mails for rental quote issue of Wipro where theyneed a GPS based rubidium clock.

As no technical specification from Customer side is provided, as per my& Somenath technical observation we suggest OSA 5240 GPS-SR andask suggestion from Maju Sir .

Maju Sir write us that we can also quote OSA 5210 for the samereason.

2. Sync Clock testing issue of NSN:

Go through the mails regarding the issue.

Discussed with Rajat Subhra Dutta & Somenath about the details of it& found that some of its clauses are very heard to understand itsexact point of notification.

Tell this to Mr. Soumya Ghosh & further known that the issue will beresolved soon.

3. Idea, Lucknow Issue:

Analyzed the raw data coming from Idea, Lucknow site and it sent toAbhishek Anand accordingly.

Discussed with Anand Sir about its quality as it showing a very badoutput result crossing all the masks.

Later they also send another raw data for analyze which was done bySomenath & Soumya Ghosh.

4. TTSL, Bhubaneswar OLP issue:

Had a discussion with Maju Sir about the operation of LCT s/w of OLP.

Maju sir gave us some training on that to operate it verbally but as theLAN cable could not connected with the OLP the practical training wasnot done.

Maju Sir told us that the latter part will be done on Monday.5. Studied the following topics related to Synchronization:

Dear Sir,


1. Wipro Rental Issue:

Go through the mails which was given to us as a feedback for technicalspecifications which containing the datasheets of Symmetricom RubidiumSource 2000.

Discussed the matter with Maju Sir and came to know that the customerneed a Rubi Source for testing purpose & also discussed with him whetherwe can give our customer the same or not as it is available with us.

After discussing with Shiv Sir, Maju Sir told me that we can give it only

after the testing of its current condition as it had not been used for a longtime.

Based on that discussion arranged a testing programme on Tuesday forthe Rubi source at G.H where Somenath will be along with me.

2. Areva Material Issue:

I along with Somenath made a packing list for customer based on theproduct we quote i.e. OSA 4531 which is supposed to come at our Rubioffice by today.

Me & Somenath Test an OLP switch with LCT software at our Lab forlearning purpose.

As the switch was not pinging with laptop we virtually learn how tooperate the LCT software by its demo version.

Go through the manuals of LCT software provided by Maju Sir.

Had a discussion with Shamal Sir regarding this issue & also confirm himthat Somenath will visit TTSL, Bhubeneswer site for the same issue onWednesday.

Give the Win XP SP3 C.D. to Somenath which he need for the siteaccordingly.

As per the schedule first report to our Rubi office and pick up ManikantsLaptop from D.C. Ray sir as this will be needed for testing.

Gone to our Baguiati store room where Somenath joined me & track 1 noof Rubi Source 2000(SL no- ), & its antenna kit.

Took one time watch (SL no-SW100304) kit & SMPS for testing purposefrom Baguiati office.

Start the testing & the Rubi source start calibrating properly but it will takeseveral hours to properly calibrate.2. AREVA material Issue:-

Checked the materials coming for AREVA.

Found the following thins on it:I. 1 No of OSA 4531 GPS-SR( SL No- 768).II. 1No of Lightening arrester kit containing- 1 No of Lightening Arrester,

10 Mtrs. Interconnecting cable.III. 2 no of Software C.D. of LM 4531 & 5240IV. 1 No. of Balloon converter( BNC male to Crone connecter)V. 1 No of GPS antenna kit.

Could not find 60 Mtrs LMR 400 GPS antenna cable.

Notify the same in mail & inform it to Puja. Modify the customer packing list for the same.

Dear Sir,

Please receive my Daily Activity Report as follows:

1. Aircel,Globsyn Cable Issue: As per the schedule first visit to Aircel, Globsyn office & meet Mr. Santu

Mallick & tell him that we need to take out the 160 Mtrs LMR 400 cablefrom their office by today.

In the meantime the labour which I fixed yesterday for dismantling of thecable joined me.

As per the discussion with Mr. Mallick meet the Security incharge of theGlobsyn building naming Mr. Chetri and told him the total scenario.

After getting the keys of all the doors from where we can drag out thecable, done the job successfully i.e. drag the cable from 11th floor to 3rd

floor.

After getting the gate pass of the cable from security placed it in ourBaguiati store room accordingly.2. AREVA rental issue:

Monitored the Rubi Source test using Time Watch which was startyesterday.

Send the 14 hrs. Data of the test to Mr. Soumya Ghosh for analyzing.

After getting the analyzed data from him, go through on it whichshowing a bad data quality as the data could not pass the G.811 mask.

Set another new Rubi Source for testing accordingly which is supposedto on through the whole night.

3. TTSL, Bhubaneswar OLP Issue:

Arranged gate pass for Somnath on the site after discussing with Mr.

Saundar. Co-ordinate with Somnath regarding OLP LCT software demo in that site.

Had a discussion with Mr. Saundar & told him to fix a proper laptop with Win XP SP3by tomorrow as today they are facing some problems with their laptop.

Had a discussion with Mr. Umesh, Site incharge regarding the same issue & aftertelling him the criteria for running the s/w told him to fix up proper arrangements.Thanks & Regards,

Put all the test equipment to our Baguiati store room.

Install the Time Watch Analyzer software to Manikants Laptop.

Analyzed the raw data & sent the same to Maju Sir accordingly.

Discussed with Maju Sir & Shiv Sir about the quality of the data as it wasnot upto the mark.

We came to the decision that we have to re test the equipments as maybe it would take some more time to working properly.2. PGCIL ,Orissa Tender Issue:

Read the tender document carefully.

Find out our scope on the tender.

Made a compliance sheets based on the technical specification presentin the tender.

Send the compliance sheet to Maju Sir for finalization.

Maju Sir send the final compliance sheet to our corporate teamaccordingly.

3. Railtel Tender Issue:

Gave the datasheets of OSA 5548C E60 & OSA 5210 to Mr. Soumya Ghosh

accordingly.4. Sync Stock Updation: Update the stock based on the following changes done

with the stock:

Modify DB9 connecter with dust cover & Balloon converter from 108 pairsto 83 pairs in our Kolkata stock.

Made an entry of OSA 4531(Sl No- 768) which is coming from OSA forAREVA, in our Kolkata stock.

Made an entry of GPS antenna (Sl No- 08N90914) which was recoveredfrom Aircel, Globsyn, in our Kolkata stock.

Made an entry of LMR 400 cable (160 Mtrs), RG 59 cable (10 Mtrs) & 1 noof Inline Amplifier (Sl No- 10630172797) which was recovered from Aircel,

Globsyn in our Kolkata stock. Made an entry of 1 no of OSA 5240(Sl No- 1078) which will go for repair

soon in our Kolkata stock.5. TTSL, Bhubeneswer OLP issue:

Co-ordinate with Somnath for smooth completion of the demo of LCTsoftware.

Had a discussion with Mr. Umesh of TTSL for arranging the properLaptop/desktop where we can smoothly run the software.

1. As per the schedule first report to our Rubi office & pick up Manikants laptopfor testing purpose of Rubi Source.

2. Gone to Baguiati store & pick up the following things for testing & go to G.H:

2 no of Rubi Source(Sl No- 330 & 331)

1 no of Time Watch (SW100304) & its accessories.

1 no of SMPS.

80 Mtrs LMR 400 cable.

GPS antenna kit for both the Rubi Source.3. Tied the antennas of Rubi Source & Time Watch to the roof top.4. Lay the 80 Mtrs LMR 400 cable properly.5. Start the both Rubi Source & also switch on the Time Watch.6. Both the Rubi source had been locked with GPS successfully after 2 hrs.7. Fed the out put of Rubi Source (Sl-331) as Ref in of Time Watch & measure

the quality of another one (Sl No-330).8. After 2 hrs of testing download the raw data & sent to our team for analyze.9. Puja sent me the analyzed data which was meeting the G.811 quality thus

showing a preferable result of it.

10.That test was completed at 8 p.m.11. Now taking Rubi Source (Sl No-330) as reference test the output of anotherone (Sl No-331).

12.That test was completed at 3 a.m.13.Then measure the output of Rubi Source (Sl No- 331), taking GPS as feedback

of Time Watch.

Dear Sir,


1. The measurement of Rubi Source(Sl No-331) taking GPS as reference iscompleted at 7 a.m.

2. Download the raw data of the out put & send to Puja for analyze.3. Measure the output of Rubi Source(Sl No-330) taking GPS as refernce.4. The test was completed at 10.30 a.m. & send the raw data of it to Puja

accordingly.5. After getting all the test result discussed with Shiv Sir & Maju Sir about the

quality of both & come to the decision that 1 Rubi Source (Sl No- 330) is notworking properly as its output was not good.

6. Then took another two Rubi Source which we have with us in our Baguiatistock, to our G.H.

7. Switch on the both Rubi Source for testing.8. One of it couldnot power up & discussing with Maju Sir about the scenario

come to the decision that that was faulty.9. Another Rubi Source is powered on & it is now in tracking mode.

1. As per the schedule first gone to our G.H. where the test of Rubi source was

going on.

2. The Rubi Source was still in tracking mode.

3. Had a discussion with Maju Sir about the Rubi Source, as it was not trackingtill then Maju Sir told us that the equipment may be faulty.

4. We put all the testing equipment at Baguiati office & come back to Rubi

Office.

5. Puja told me that the 60 Mtr LMR 400 cable is already arrived in our H.O.

6. Had a discussion with Jajoo Sir along with Mr. Soumya Ghosh, about the

dispatch matter of OSA 4531 material to AREVA.

7. Correct the packing list for customer as directed by Jajoo Sir.

8. Pack the material for dispatch except the cable.

5. Had a discussion with the Site incharge Mr. Santanu Mondal & arrangedelectrician for D.C. power outage.

6. Had a discussion with Manjunath Sir for site activity. As the darkness isalready there Manjunath Sir told us to start the Site preparance by tomorrowmorning & also told us that he will notify the point which is to be tested bytomorrow.

7. We put all our equipments & accessories inside the BTS room safely & left thesite.

Cable Layout, GPS antenna installation accordingly.3. Set the arrangement for Wander test i.e. DC power connection, Time Watch

Connection, OSA 4531 installation.4. After getting the proper connection from ET terminal completed the test for

waveform shape of output by CRO.

5. Completed the test for frequency recognization by Frequency Counter.6. Completed the Jitter test of the same output by SDH Analyzer successfully.7. Start the 24 hrs Wander test using Time Watch.

27/05/2011:-

1. As per the schedule reached the site accordingly.2. Completed the 24 hrs Wander test.3. Download the RAW data of the same & sent to Puja for analyzation.4. I along with Somnath & Manikant had a discussion with Manjunath Sir with

analyzed data of Wander test & of Jitter test.5. Manjunath Sir told us to do a 24 hrs Wander test of another output which is of

Vodafone as the said site is shared by Vodafone & Airtel.6. Start the 24 hrs Wander test accordingly.

28/05/2011:-

1. Reached the site at 10 a.m. accordingly.2. As per the schedule Maju Sir joined with us.3. Completed the 24hrs Wander test for Vodafone accordingly.4. Download the raw data & sent to Puja for analyzation.5. Discussed with Manjunath Sir about the result of wander test.6. As per Manjunath sir test the Jitter test of the same output & discussued the

same with Manjunath Sir.7. Manjunath Sir told us to go for another 24 hrs Wander test of the same

output for assurance.29/05/2011:-

1. As per the schedule report to the site.2. As per Manjunath Sir retest the Jitter test of the Output to be tested of Airtel

node.3. Completed the 2nd Wander test of the Vodafone output & got the analyzed

data from Puja.30/05/2011:-

1. Manjunath Sir discussed with us about the result of Vodafone & also told us

to do another test in Martala Airtel site.

2. Done the site preparance at Martala site with Maju Sir & Somnath.

3. Completed test from the output given by the site engineer.

4. Start the Wander test accordingly.

1. We completed the 12 hrs Wander test accordingly.

waveform shape by CRO.4. Manjunath Sir discussed with us about the results.5. Manjunath Sir told us to move for Keshpur BSC of Airtel.6. We set the journey for Keshpur BSC & after reaching the site done the site

preparance accordingly.7. Completed the Jitter test of the output (ET 320 ,BSC88) given by the

concerning site enginner.

1. As per the schedule reached the site in the morning.2. Start the Wander test of the same output.3. Manjunath Sir joined us on the site & told us that Airtel yet not confirmed

their site planning & also told us to hold the Airtel testing for furthernotification & also told us to move for Pashkura BSC of Vodafone for doing

the Sync. Clock testing.4. He also gave us the address for another 5 Vodafone site to be tested.5. Completed another set of Jitter test of the same output using Loop & live line.6. After getting confirmation from Manjunath Sir, we left the site.

2. Meet with Mr. Kalyan Makhal, BSS engineer of Vodafone accordingly.

3. Had a discussion with him about the point to be tested there & also told him

the ET number i.e. ET 2M1 & MUX name i.e. XDM 100 BG 20.

4. Completed the site preparance i.e. cable lay outing, installation of Time

Watch, installation of OSA 4531, DC power connection successfully.

5. Manjunath Sir joined us & told us to start the 24 hrs stability test(Wander

Test).

6. Getting his confirmation we start the wander test & monitor the test for 4 hrs.

1. As per the work plan completed the 24 hrs Wander test at 4 30 p.m.

2. Then Mr. Kalyan Makhal gave us the softloop for the E1 point to be tested.

3. Completed the Jitter test of the output node to be tested.

4. Completed the experiment for taking out the exact frequency of the sameMux output by Frequency Counter

5. In the meantime we downloaded the raw data of 24 hrs wander test sent to

our corporate team & Rajat Da revert on the same.

6. Completed the CRO test accordingly.

7. Inform the same to Mr. Manjunath Sir & he told us to re test Bhagbanpur

04/06/2011:-

1. As per the schedule report to Bhagbanpur, Vodafone site.

2. Completed the site preparance activity accordingly.

3. Start the Jitter test of the desired E1 output to be tested.

4. After completion of Jitter test, as per Manjunath Sir Start the 24 hrs wander

test of the exact output to be tested.

5. Monitor the result for 5 hrs.

05/06/2011:-

1. As per the work plan completed the 24 hrs Wander test.

2. Download the raw data of the test accordingly.

3. Completed the Frequency counter test for taking out the exact frequency of

the output.

4. Successfully completed the CRO test.

5. Took all the joint signed report of Vodafone as well as of Bharti testing from

respective BSS engineer & left the site.

06/06/2011:-

1. As per the schedule return back from Bhagbanpur as the activity of that site

was completed successfully.

2. Handedover 1 no of GPS antenna (Sl No- 05060129) to Mr. Rajat Subhra

Dutta as that had to be send to our Delhi office by today.

3. Contact with Mr. Anujit Saha of TSH Lab for sending the same & after proper

packing of the antenna handedover to him.

4. Handedover all the joint signed report to Mr. Rajat Subhra Dutta which we

had completed till date of Bharti & of Vodafone.

5. Gone to our G.H. with Somnath where already Maju Sir & Manikant waiting for

us.

6. Configure the Time Watch which Somnath will take to Bhubaneswar.

07/06/2011:-

1. At first report to our Rubi office accordingly.

2. Had a discussion with Mr. Shikhar of our Delhi team about the OSA GPS

antenna stock & get the confirmation of 2 GPS antenna coming from Delhi

office to Rubi by Shiv Sir on 25th February 2011.

3. Had a discussion with Mohta Sir about all the dispachment of OSA GPS

antenna from Kolkata office.

4. Gone to our Baguiati store & find two healthy antennas (Sl No- 160100387 &

160100354).

5. Took two no of Rubi Source (SL no 331 & 330) 7 its antennas to our G.H.

which will be tested by Maju Sir.

6. Had a discussion with Shiv Sir, Maju Sir & Puja about our OSA GPS antenna

stock & close the issue as we are able to match all the antennas with our

stock.
