/.,ath prapya kin'hid van'hadhi - na so'hathi- na dweshati- na ramathe na *thsahibhavathi

ne who gets it desires not- worries not- hates not - en0oys not- and does not getex'ited.

$2.Iswarasyapyabhi mana dweshitwath dainya priyathwa'ha

Be'a*se God also does not like pride and likes h*mility- ;devotion9 as a method isbetter than <arma yoga and Gnana yoga

$3.6asya gnana meva %adana mithyeke

%ome believe that knowledge alone is the path of attainment.

$5.Anyonyasryathwa mithyanye

%ome others believe that <nowledge and devotion are interdependent on ea'hother

)7.%wayam phala roopathethi Brahma k*mara

 6he son of Brahma sage Narada! believes that ;devotion9 is its own res*lt

)1.?a0agr*ha Bho0anaadhish* tadaiva dr*shtatwad

It is 0*st like glan'ing at a pala'e or being informed of s*mpt*o*s food .

)$. Naa thena ?a0a paridosha ksh*dha shanthirva

Glan'ing at the pala'e does not make the king happy nor hearing of s*mpt*o*sfood remove his h*nger

.%imilarly knowing abo*t ;devotion9- does not help yo* at all. ,o* sho*ld have;devotion9.

It rea'hes 'ompletion by forever 'easeless 'hanting

)2.Lokebhi Bhagawath g*na sravana keerthanad

It also rea'hes 'ompletion by hearing always or singing abo*t the @*alities of God.

)3.*khythasth* ahad krapayaiva Bhagawat kr*pa leasad 4aa

B*t most importantly it rea'hes 'ompletion only by the gra'e of Great learnedpeople and by the divine gra'e.

)5. ahad sangasth* d*rlabhe - agamyo amogas'ha

 6he 'ompany or the gra'e of great learned people is diffi'*lt to get and is not easily

attained and never goes waste.

+7.Labhyadhobhi that kr*payaiva

 6he 'ompany of great learned people is got only thro*gh the gra'e of God.

Also forever avoid the 'ompany of bad people.

++.<ama - <rodha- moha - smrithibramsa - b*ddhi nasa- sarva nasa karanathwaad.

Be'a*se s*'h a 'ompanyof bad people! leads to passion- anger- d*llness- memoryloss loss of wisdom and th*s leads to *tter r*in.

+/. 6harangayidha abhi me sangath sam*drayanthi

 6hese passion- anger et'! tho*gh they initially appear in bad 'ompany as smallwaves gather moment*m and be'ome like sea.

+.<astharathi kastharathi ayam ,a- sangam sthya0athi yo mahan*bhavamsevathe - nirmalo bhavathi.

(e who is devoid of any worldly atta'hment serves wise people and does not have afeeling of ;mine9 'an only 'ross the veil of ill*sion.

bhavathi- yoga kshemam tya0athi.

(e who lives in a holy pla'e in se'l*sion- he who '*ts of the fetters of worldlyatta'hment- he who goes beyond all 'hara'teriCations and he who forsakespleas*re as well as yoga only 'an only 'ross the veil of ill*sion.

+5.4edanabhi sannyasyathi- kevalam vi'hinna an*ragam labhade

(e who forsakes even 4edas and rea'hes the limitless love of ;devotion9 'an only'ross the veil of ill*sion.

/7.%a tharathi- sa tharathi sa lokaam stharayathi

(e 'rosses- (e only 'rosses- and he helps other people also to 'ross.. the veil ofaya.

/1.Anirva'haneeyam prema swaroopam

 6his extreme love of ;devotion9 is indefinable

/$. ooka swadanavath

It is extreme love! like a d*mb one tasting - for he does not tell what he feels.

/).Prakasathe kwapi pathre.

Extremely rarely some people are able to explain what they feel.

/+.G*na rahitham- kamanaa rahitham- prathi kshana vardhamana- avi'hinnam-sookshma tharam- an*bhava roopam.

 6his love of ;devotion9 is witho*t any properties- witho*t any desire- in'reasesevery se'ond- mi'ro of mi'ros and it 'an be des'ribed only by really experien'ing it.

/.Gowni thridha g*na bheda arthadhi bhedathwa.

 6he ;devotion9 is of three types depending on the type of people viC.%athwa p*rehearted!- ?a0asawarrior in o*tlook! and 6amasadebased!

/2.Ftharasmath* - *tharasmath poorva- poorvaasrayeya bhavathi.

Ea'h of the above three 'ategories are better than that 'oming next - in otherwords- %athvika Bhakthi is better than ?a0asi' whi'h is better than thamasi'-

BhagavadDgItA 2.18 the in@*isitive and the man of wisdom- one who is desiro*s ofwealth and one who s*ffers.

/3.Anyasmath sa*labhyam bhaktho*

 6his path of ;devotion9 is the easiest among the paths to attain God.

/5.Pramana antharsyam apekshatwath swayam pramanathwath.

 6his path of ;devotion9 is its own proof and does not need any other proof.

7.%anthi roopaath- paramananda roopas'ha

It is personifi'ation of pea'e and *ltimate happiness.

1.Lokhana* 'hintha na karya nivedhi- tha athma loka vedatwad.

ne who pra'ti'es ;devotion9 sho*ld not get worried abo*t worldly affairs- for hehas given away all his a'tions to God.

&o not hear stories- gossip or news abo*t women- atheist and enemies.

+.Abhimana &ambadhikam tyagyam

%a'rifi'e egoism and self praise

/.6hadrpidago laa'hara san kala krodhabhi manadhikam tasminneva karaneeyam

If after offering all a'tions to god- if feelings of anger- pride and passion 'omeagain- they also sho*ld be offered to (im.

.6ri roopa bhanga poorvakam nithya dasa- nithya kanthapa 0anathmakam vapremaiva karyam- premaiva karyam-

Breaking the three distin'tions pointed o*t- one sho*ld always serve (im like aservant or wife with *nblemished love and definitely with *nblemished love.

2.Bhaktha ekandino m*khya

 6hose devotes only are great who keep (im as their one and only one aim.

3.<antavarodha roman'hasr*bhi parasparam labhamana - bhavayanthi k*laniprithweem.

 6hese devotees with tear filled eyes- with st*ttering voi'e- and hair standing o*tdis'*ss always abo*t (im and are a gift to the their 'lan and to the world.

5.6heerthi k*rvanthi- theerthani s*karmi k*vanthi- karmani sa'hasthri k*rvanthi

31.6risathyasya bhakthireva gareeyasi - bhakthireva gareeyasi.
