ORGANIZATIONAL POSITIONS:

Core coordinator of Renaissance’14: Renaissance is a national conference on social sensitization which will be organized in different institutes like IIT Roorkee, BITS Pilani and XLRI Jamshedpur every year. In 2014, VNIT took the responsibility of organizing Renaissance where 200 odd participants from different IITs and NITs participated and there were discussions about social work and social innovations. We also organized guest lectures by eminent personalities like Anshu Gupta, Vikas Amte, Amrut Bang and Anil Kakodhkar.

Public Relations Executive of Prayaas-VNIT:

Prayaas is the social club of VNIT consisting of 150 volunteers from different departments working on different social activities. We go for teaching to the nearby 2 municipal schools and a slum every day. We also organize events like Joy of giving week, Blood donation camps and NGO visits.

Logistics head of AXIS’14:

Axis, the technical fest of VNIT Nagpur was inaugurated by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. It has a foot fall of over 6000 students where I lead of team of 10 third years, we were completely responsible for using the limiting resources that we have in successfully organizing the event.

Event organizer of Swades:

Swadesh is the social entrepreneurship event in Consortium’15 (Management festival of VNIT, Nagpur). Basically the main focus of the event is on introducing social enterprise idea to the youth. Our work got published in more than 5 leading newspapers.

Intern at JNARDDC (May-July 2015) :

Overview Of Aluminum Extraction From Bauxite:

I did intern in Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminum Research Development and Design Center (JNARDDC), Nagpur on Analysis & evolution of aluminum extraction from the few important areas which are: Bauxite aluminum (Geology and evolution of basic bauxite Deposits).D Downstream (metallography of aluminum in metallurgy).Types of furnaces used in aluminum industry batch, fuel, electric furnaces). The red mud Is the waste generated from aluminium industry after extraction of aluminium from it by the conventional bayer process. The red mud bricks are produced by using admixture of high siliceous plastic clay and talc.

Intern at Goonj (June-July 2014) GOONJ is providing clothes & other basic amenities to millions of people in the

far flung villages/tribal areas by turning urban wastage into a resource. I

worked in the Goonj sorting center to optimize the processing of the clothes

segregation.

Intern at Vizag steel plant (May-June 2014)

My intern topic is “The study of blast furnace processing system & role of stoves in iron

making. We have studied the process of blast furnace in various zones with varying

temperatures. We have also correlated the effect of stoves used in furnace on the steel

productivity.

Undergraduate Project (July 2015-May2016)

The synthesized samples in which weight of CNT added varied from 0.01mg to 0.05 mg, it can be concluded that

DMSO is only able to cause swelling of TPU granules i.e. it partially dissolves TPU-85.

DMF is an aggressive solvent that results in complete dissolution of TPU-85 which is

essential to create homogeneous dispersion of CNT in the TPU matrix.

CNTs are important in increasing the nucleating efficiency of TPU significantly.

Nucleating efficiency shows a decreasing trend and only increases sufficiently for 0.4

mg CNT addition.

Based on percentage crystallinity and nucleating efficiency, incorporation of 0.4 mg

CNT appears to have maximum benefit on basis of morphology and hence properties .
