This following is a rare hymn of Lord Ganapati from Brahma Vaivarta Puranam,

Ganapati Khanda, Chapter 44. Lord Vishnu mentions the 8 most sacred names of Lord

Ganesha to Goddess Durga Devi – Ganesha, Ekadanta, Heramba, Vighna Nayaka,

Lambodara, Shurpakarna, Gajavaktra, Guhagraja – by defining the significance of each

name and declares that this hymn is the essence of all Shaktis and Arthas.

One who chants this hymn thrice a day enjoys all comforts, gains victory in all

efforts, gets all obstacles removed, and becomes disease-free.

Due to Lord Ganesha’s Prasada, he becomes Mahajnani and attains progeny,

spouse. Even a dumb person becomes a great poet and erudite scholar.
